First, let me say I loved your book, Love Is a Mix Tape. My question is:
What artist’s music saved your life? (For me, it’s Madonna.)

How would you describe your writing stlye, because to me it just looks like a disjointed mess. Maybe should read Bukowski, maybe that’ll straighten you out!

Hey Kev, Led Zeppelin saved my life.
What kind of crap is Madonna? If I listen to that shit, I would’ve put a gun to my head and pulled the fuckin’ trigger!
BTW, you’ve lost your fastball. You usta make good movies. WTF happened, chief smoke?

I’ve often contended that “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)” is THE perfect dance song.
Is there a song that you feel is a perfect dance song, and if so, what makes it perfect?
Also, on my last visit to Daddy’s, the Elvis pinball machine was absent. Let’s hope this is a temporary hiatus.

I think your book is utterly amazing–and im still in the middle of reading it, lol–but my question is, if you had to choose one song to sum you up; one song as your kind of anthem of the moment, what would it be?

Rob, I’m sorry but I have 2 questions. 1. Do you ever think there will be a “new Beatles”? 2. What Latin artists do you like?

I know you hear this alot but love is a mix tape is the best book ive ever read. I’ve never read a book that has been so honest and so beautiful. My boyfriend and I read this book together and we were wondering if writing this book helped you with the loss of your wife and did you feel like it was something you needed to write. Just know it was lovely to read your book and be reminded that love was real and we feel like we got to know you and we have great respect for you. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
