There is a story on the internet that the 40/40 Club was sued and Shawn Carter was not named in the lawsuit, while the real owners were named, that means he’s not an owner at all! It’s also claimed that he signed a $150 million dollar record deal with “Live Nation” but they only do “live concerts” It also says that the Mary J. Blige Tour was a part of the deal, but that tour was already in progress when they claim the deal was signed as Jay-Z was only a “special invited guest” on the tour even though the radio tried to hype it up like it was his tour.
