So if they kept playing that same old music forever then they would be lieing really, because they’d be playing music that meant nothing to them and only playing music about the old emotions they used to have to sound like they used to (which would be bad because, how bad would it be if all of their songs were about the same thing?). Bands will change as they grow up, seriously, pete wentz writes all the lyrics, so of course the lyrics are going to change from what they were 2003, because now he’s married and expecting a kid? and now the band has to deal with d-bags like you hating people, so hes probably going to write more songs about that and the life the band is currently living instead of the songs the band wrote on From Under The Cork Tree.
