I like about 4 of her new tracks. 2 or 3 others are not good. But that’s true of any artist. Very few have all great songs on the same album. Actually Brits old CD sometimes had all good tracks, but that’s a while ago. But who cares about one stupid show or how she does it? I could care less about performances. I go to some for fun, but don’t take them so seriously. When I listen to music, I honestly choose what I like and that’s about it. I think the 3 or 4 new tracks of hers that are good, are very good. She still looks good and she once looked fabulous. But now, the girl has problems. She’s not as hot as she once was. She’s lazy and/or she’s got a drug problem. We demand perfection from Britney and she’s not delivering it. She doesn’t care about her performance. She’s let herself slide. All she has to do is show up and she causes a scene–she gets all the attention. Britney knows her appearance is the most important thing. When she ran off stage after her ‘performance’ at the VMA, she was ‘inconsolable’. Why? Because she was unhappy with her terrible performance? No! She was upset because she looked like a “fat pig” on the monitors! Britney’s one and only “talent” has always been looking pretty and sexy. We all know that won’t last.

I’m not a Britney fan, but I will defend her on one specific issue. Weight loss is a lot different for women than it is for men; and much more difficult, especially for women who have had children. It is not impossible, but it does take time, work and patience.

I saved myself from the torture of watching this show. However, a friend who watched it told me that the whole show was absolutely pathetic and pitiful, with the exception of Alicia Keys’ performance.
