Saw WS in Myrtle Beach last summer…(For the third time)…Jack was tweakin’: starting songs (six, to be exact) stopping, then starting again,,sometimes the same song sometimes not….The man was mumbling (”too loud, too slow”), freaking out as his hair brushed his face….Stopped playing in the middle of a tune to go get a hair-tie!

A horrible show…
Sound quality abysmal.

The “anxiety thing could very well be Meg taking one for the team to cover Jack’s “anxiety”..(She seemed relaxed and comfortable).

That said, I’m glad she’s in the band, even though she’s not a good drummer, they are a good pair, and Jack doesn’t need a good drummer.

I wish her well, they are amazing live. Saw them at Madison Square Garden this year.

this will have been the 8th and 9th time i would have seen the white stripes and i am completely devastated that they cancelled. anyone who says it’s “just a concert” has obviously never seen them live, it is truely a unique experience.I will pray to god (who doesn’t exist) for Meg’s swift return.

Is it just me, or does Meg look a lot like Kirstie Alley?

I hope that for all of the negative energy that is being spent here that they wind up never coming to play in your town. Then maybe you can complain even more about how the scene sucks and there are no good bands and soon you will find out that meth IS the best thing ever. Then the idea of needing a job will overcome you and you will find out that its really easy to make meth with the help of the internet and some cheap chemicals that will eventually burn down your house. I just hope that the good neighbors who also wanted to see the show dont wind up getting hurt in the blast.

she’s probably skittish and stressed because people are constantly giving her shit about her playing. it’s same critisism peter criss and ringo starr haved suffered from: if you play simply, you don’t really know how to play. to me any drummer who can solidly back a band in the studio and tour, no matter how simple the drum parts are is a good drummer because that ’s the true test of a good musician.

Good thing they weren’t coming to FL on this tour because I would have definitely picked up tickets. Sorry, to everyone who planned on going to their shows. Really sucks. I hope if they get everything together again they can come to Miami or Fort Lauderdale.

Meg once winked at my friends Joe and KC at a concert two years ago. The thought of her coming back to Chicago in a few weeks caused her so much anxiety that she had to cancel. Those two are such groupie heart throbs!!!
