Alright, I was a little crass earlier. I’ll admit it. Bottom line is I’m tired of hearing how great the Beatles were. They were — fine. They were the best band, have the greatest, most significant songs, albums…made an impact with what they did on culture. And yes…McCartney wrote some of the best ones — Hey Jude, Fool on the Hill, Helter Skelter, fine. And yes, he has written great music as a solo artist — Maybe I’m Amazed, LIttle Willow, Mr. Bellamy. So maybe I’m the dildo. Fine I admit it, I am. I’m a loser compared to McCartney. And yes, that bothers me. So you’ve heard my heart. Now can we talk about someone who doesn’t make me feel like such a loser?
