Something came out from this movie, because I remember Cate Blanchett as Dylan, a good copy, but her cheekbones go on forever. A big distraction. Oh, it was the scene where Dylan meets Alan Ginsberg for the first time, driving down the highway,Dylan’s in his limo and Ginsberg is on a motor scooter. Of course I want to see this movie!!!

The worst film of the year will be ACROSS THE UNIVERSE, and this will actually be worse, but, NOONE will see it.

To Nmar & others I ask, Why Shouldnt this be good? Who else, more than any other Musician in the last 50 years has “worn” more Stylistic Faces. Protest Rally Folkie, Jet Set Pop Star, Basement Roots Rocker, Country Singer, Actor-Filmaker, Gypsy General, Born Again Christian, DeadHead, Bluesman, Jazzbo Crooner. Why not enlist half a dozen talented actors to portray one of Dylans many personalities. Im glad this film’s in the hands of such a maverick as Todd Haynes. Who else would you rather see direct, Taylor Hackford?

As much of a Dylan fan as I am, and despite the fact that the the acting talent in this film is impressive, This can’t be good.
