Britney Spears has reportedly hired new management: Jeff Kwatinetz, CEO of powerhouse Los Angeles management company the Firm (also known as the recently ousted manager of Kelly Clarkson). In April, after her brief stint in rehab, Spears split with her longtime manager Larry Rudolph, the man who tirelessly defended the pop star during her “rocky moment” in January ‘07 (that was the moment she was partying with Paris and forgetting her undies), asked “the media respect her privacy … at this time” (that was the time she shaved her head and landed in Promises), insisted she wasn’t barfing on her then-model boyfriend (”Because Isaac didn’t lick the peanut butter off his fingers, someone decided … it must be Britney’s vomit. Ridiculous!”) and of course, ice-skated with her in New York shortly after she filed for divorce from Kevin Federline. Jeff Kwatinetz, we salute you.
