Video reviews are as dull as ass. I could read 4 reviews in half the time it takes to load this thing and then watch a couple of douchebags prattle on about TWO albums when I’m sure plenty more came out that day.

Sam V. | 8/8/2007, 1:55 am EST

I agree with Aaron D. The reviews blow, not to mention that the 1990’s album came out three months ago. Also, can you guys change up your artist comparisons. I’ve heard the same fucking T Rex reference or Missing Persons comparisons for every band you review. I’m pretty sure there are a ton of other bands you can reference.

Jamie B. | 8/8/2007, 1:55 am EST

The 1990s? Flight of the Conchords? Who are these bands? Review something by a band/artist someone cares about. I sure hope the John Fogerty album gets it’s due when it comes out on Oct. 2. If it doesn’t, I’ll be pissed. These bands today are horrible.

Jamie B. , you’re right on the cutting edge.

Please PRINT the reviews, these video reviews suck. I’d rather get a well written review instead of bad TV… I miss the days where a reviewer stayed up all night, smoked and drank and played the record all night, THEN started to write about the MUSIC. This is just two people making comments with a CD on in the background…. WE NEED LESTER BANGS!!!!!!!!! not this garbage

dear jungleland | 8/8/2007, 11:24 am EST

they print like 50 reviews every two weeks in the magazine, are you fucking retarded

Teonanactl | 8/8/2007, 1:55 pm EST

Fuck popcorn!!!!!!!Oh,sorry,wrong meeting,

Ahh Jamie B You are quite hopeless and stuck somewhere in time. Being in the school of thought, if I have never heard of it it can’t be any good. Yes most of the commercial music these days sucks but there is a great amount of artists who keep the craft in form. Expand your mind

Jim | 8/8/2007, 4:07 pm EST

I cant watch video reviews at work – come on – print them! this is ridiculous!

Bangers-N-Mash | 8/8/2007, 7:04 pm EST

This is bullshit… I can do this shit myself on Youtube… you guys get paid how much to put out a magazine that used to be the leading authority on music, entertainment, and politics…

WTF, why John and Brian sound like they just packed two bowls and blazed them quick? eff this

Jamie B. | 8/8/2007, 8:36 pm EST

Well, I just hate how all these news bands and a few RS favorites (Guns n’ Roses) get all the pub, but artists like Fogerty, Mellencamp, and others get a 100-word write-up and that’s it. Does anyone here want to wager $20 that the new Fogerty album “Revival” is better than both of the records reviewed in this video? The two cuts I’ve heard kick large amounts of ass, so I’ll take on anyone who wants to wager.

Patcash | 8/9/2007, 8:22 pm EST

I agree that the reviews should be printed..its ridiculous. I only have a set quota of net usage at my course so i Would rather read it than view it! :) Jamie.B? what do you mean “review music someone cares about”? I for one care a lot about flight of the conchordes..hilarious hbo show..Not every review is going to be on a limited range of mainstream artists/movies. variety is the spice of life and all that. rolling stone should be doing more introduce us to new projects – like conchordes-well done stone writers.
