its not quite the same, its not ‘82 or ‘88 or even ‘93 anymore and they blew there original moment back in ‘96 with dlr and we got a horrid vh3 out of it. now he has kid in tow. it would be one thing if they produced a new album and toured a little less un-pretentously instead of this big ticket item cash grab they have going. like most of the older legacy bands do, all spark and no flame. these guys are old and now we have a family affair on stage.

I’m not here to get in the last word. In humble opinion, I think it is great that Eddie is touring with his son, christ almighty we are all lucky they are still alive, I know it is too bad we all can’t get what we want ie… having mike play, I get to see all the best bands in the world, well here is another one out there doing there thing. See you at the front of stage in Seattle.

I saw VH with DLR back in the early 80’s 2 times, saw the Sam Halen version 5 times. Also saw the DLR Tours with Steve Vai - AWESOME, and without Steve Vai - BLEW.
I also was fortunate to catch David Lee Roth and Sammy Haggar together 3 or 4 summers ago at Saratoga Springs…pretty neat.

I have tickets to the NOV 8 VH concert at Nassau Coliseum on Long Island and cant wait!
I have seen some of the You-Tube clips of the pretour concerts and am a bit concerned about DLR’s vocals. He sounds like a Las Vegas lounge singer on some of the songs, especially “Hot for Teacher” and “Jump”.

All in all …i cant wait!!!!

Now…How about Sammy Haggar, Michael Anthony, STEVE VAI and Gregg Bissonette go on tour.

Personally…i would prefer Billy Sheehan on bass…but that is my opinion…..

I missed the real Halen when they came to Seattle back in the day…and have regretted it ever since. Van Halen I and II are two of the best-sounding rock records ever made. The music speaks for itself:

I’m really torn on this tour, but will say I did buy tickets. I never had the opp to see the band with Dave, but saw them with Sammy and Gary. After they went to Sammy, the music seemed to lose alot of its fun factor and turn into love ballads and Sammy saying “HEY!” in every song. Nothing new generated there- I look forward to seeing them play w/DLR again, but will definitely miss Anthony.. Wolfie, don’t CHOKE!!

Wolfgang needs to join his mom Valerie on the diet plan. Maybe this was his way of getting out of it.

The glass is definately half full, not half empty with this setup. The musical backbone is there, Ed, Alex and Dave. Dave is back in the band ! Thats most important for me atleast. It would be cool to have M.Anthony back in the band. But I believe this setup kicks the band up much more than any setup without Dave.

While I agree with many of the last comments made on this site. Some I have to disagree with I have been a fan since I was 12 years old. I used to wait at the record stores, buy VH tickets with my allowance bribe a relative to take me to there shows. I am 40 years old this year and my love for VH has not changed at all. I just bought the VIP package yesterday for the show in Auburn Hills, Michigan. I know it may not be the same with Mike but a chance to see them with DLR maybe just one more time to me is worth the money. It may not be perfect and there are going to be mistakes and they are getting older. But you know what so are you so am I we have all changed. The memories of VH from my youth, the concerts, etc those memories can never be replaced. To me they will always be the BEST ! If it is not Vanhalen it is not music.

I’m 40 now, Van Halen is very much a part of my guitar playing life. However, I’m very skeptical about this whole 3/4ths reunion thing also. I’m sure Wolfie will play very well, how old is he, 16? What is Edward thinking? Exposing this kid to the Madness of Rock & Roll? I wish I could go on the road with my guitar god dad!!

But this is a very important tour, Ed’s trying so hard to top what Sammy’s doing.

Dave’s singing is crap, I hope him being with Ed and Alex makes his vocals better.

I truly love Edward, he’s definatley one of the reasons I play guitar, but this whole reunion thing, the porno soundtrack thing, going back on his word about Dave, rehab, not going to the Rock & Roll hall of fame, in his honor. There seems to be a lot of turmoil.

I hope it works out, I want to hear and see reviews before I shell out dinero. I have seen VH with Dave and Sammy numerous times. I love the classic songs with Dave, but he doesn’t sing as well as Sammy.

I hate to say it, because Van Halen helped create my love of rock music with the release of Van Halen I, but I will not attend this tour.

Michael Anthony was not just the bassist for Van Halen - he was at the core of its vocal sound, perhaps the secret weapon of the band. What’s more, Michael Anthony was the accessible guy in the band, the guy you wanted to meet and hang out with. Eddie and Alex were always completely unrelatable and unaccessible and Dave was out of his mind, but Michael Anthony was this great, friendly, awesome presence on stage whose bass solo was perhaps the only bass solo in rock worth watching.

Van Halen without Michael Anthony is not Van Halen, no matter who the lead singer. I think no true Van Halen fan, at least none in my generation who literally grew up on Van Halen and who know what it’s like to wait at the record store for the new Van Halen record to show up, none of us will go to this show.

I really hate to say it but all I’ve seen out of Edward Van Halen over the past 11 years is misguided ego trips, one after the next, and this so-called reunion tour is just more of the same.

God bless you Eddie, and thanks for providing the foundation for my love of music, but you’re done. Van Halen, this isn’t.

Although I don’t think Van Halen didn’t really rock until Sammy was there, I still like Diamond Dave. But how in the heck can they say this is a reunion tour without Mikey. Wolfie was not even conceived when VH was banging out tunes and he is supposed replace a vital part of the band.

I have to admit I love these guys and no one has wanted to see this more than me. But after watching the press conference I am having my doubts about this. I wish they would just do it and get down to playing there fantastic music. The love stuff and the hugging and all that we don’t need that it just makes me think they are trying so hard to make this work I just hope it is not over before it begins. Still planning on buying VIP tickets though tomorrow.

This is a bastardized reunion. Anyone who wants to see three quarters of van halen playing with Eddie’s fat son on bass is an idiot.

The Original lineup’s two primary songwriters are present, and the two most inimitable musicians are present (Eddie and Dave). So Mike wants to hang with Sammy, fine. The main dudes are there for us to dig. I never thought this would happen, so I’m not gonna bitch about that.

David Lee Roth and Van Halen live in concert!!! Very nice. I have a huge smile on my face right now. I will happily be in attendance at your live rock concerts. You guys are the original HollywoodRockStars. Thanks for all the great music. Fans…remember that rockers have *ucked up relationships like all of us. And, being in a band is a job. Eddie must be a huge prima donna. I mean, why have a “reunion” without your (arguably) best singer in tow. That is NOT Hagar or Roth, by the way. Michael Anthony stuck with these guys through thick and thin, and then EVH has another hissy fit and puts his boy Wolfie in the band. What an ass! I don’t care how good Wolfie is, without Anthony it’s not a true reunion. It’s just another (cover) version of the band. It’s the backing vocals that keep Van Halen sounding like Van Halen, so
if Wolfie hasn’t got his vocal mojo working, this tour will suck suck suck. Everyone’s whose seen Roth over the past few years knows that he doesn’t even sing the tunes, he just enunciates every third lyric, while doing splits and jumping around the stage like a moron. Yay! Not.

I just want to mention that I am sooooo upset that Michael Anthony won’t be playing.

No Michael Anthony means I don’t have to go out and fight for tix to this show. I went to The Police concert in June and it was excellent. If they can put aside their differences and tour, anyone can. If all four original members were gettin’ together I would just have to go, but now… I’m gonna pass. It has nothing to do with Wolfgang. I’m sure he’ll be just fine if not great. That’s not the point. When Page & Plant got togther they didn’t call it Zep ’cause they were NOT getting together with all the living original members. No John Paul Jones, no Led Zep. No Michael Anthony, no VH. It’s as simple as that.

I have been a major VH van since the 70’s. I have had the pleasure of seeing them live in concert seven times. It is understandable that most people think they are now too old to entertain, but let me tell you one thing, I would pay big money to once again, and probably for the last time, see the greatest rock band of all time. I don’t care if it’s Mike or Wolfie, it’s still VAN HALEN….

AND, I’ll have to agree with what BG said. Likely, by the sixth show or so (if they even go out on tour in the first place) the guys will get fed up with each other and call the whole thing off.

I hope that doesn’t happen though. Me Wise Magic ROCKED, and I’d love for some more new music to come out of this thing.

Sorry, but I saw video of Eddie’s playing just a few months back. I was flabbergasted, and not in a good way! I could not believe this was the same man who used to make the guitar wail.

This doesn’t mean I’m hating! I’m a HUGE VH fan! Was weaned on his music, and have 25 years of guitar experience, much of which directly influenced by Eddie. He’s a staple in the world of guitar and I don’t think anyone (hating or not) could deny that. I think it’s safe to say, barring maybe Jeff Beck, that Eddie was rock’s first guitar god, and I have appreciated every lick he’s ever recorded with the hairs on my arms.

But be realistic here folks in what you can expect for this tour. This is not The Police. Those guys can still do what they did back then, hence the spectacular shows they are currently putting on. But VH was not a pop/reggae outfit. They were the quintessential “Party Band”. Screaming, running, jumping, flying, drinking, and backflipping on stage were the norm for them. How much of this do you think guys approaching sixty can do?

I doubt you’ll be seeing many flip flops from Roth. And I doubt he can do a leaping spinning rear crescent kick worth a damn these days. And while I give kudos to Eddie for pioneering the instrument as he has, he’s gone through alot since his day, and his playing has apparently suffered as a result. Again, I”M NOT HATING!

I wish the best for these guys on their tour. Truly I do. While it would be great to see the original lineup together, I doubt the lack of Mike’s presence is going to affect the show much. What’s going to affect the show is age, age, and more age. Sorry guys, rockers can’t do it like they’re twenty forever.

Hopefully, when they hit Atlanta, they will have already done a dozen or so shows so that they’ll be back in the groove of things as much as they can be. Then, if I’ve heard good things, and seen some sort of proof that Eddie’s playing has improved, then I’ll consider going. DLR was, is, and always will be regarded as the lead singer of VAN HALEN, and he’s been used to save the band on several occasions. Once again Valerie, and cocaine/booze have ripped EVH in half, Alex is living in a 3 bedroon condo, and they all need money more the Roth does. Roth had a great yr in 2002, and 2006 and once agian thanks to himself is about to have a monumental year maybe two. Fucking dolts that do not think Anthony’s presence will not be missed and that he played no vital role in VH are simply ignorant.
Yes, we wish the best for Wolfie and yes, Michael has been active with Sam, but if you have two brothers drinking themselves to death and not touring, as a musician, what would you do? Sit at home or go out on tour trying to relive or revitalize a important part of your life?

You may be able to find a better bass player who is more technically gifted then Mike, but the other things he offered are not so easily replaced. Background vocals and a “get off your ass and jam” aspect after Roth’s departure were Mikes cornerstone and even if you grew tired of his obligatory mid-show bass solo, you could not help but say to yourself “Well, at least somebody in that band is letting loose”

Those background vocals are also going to be pretty damned important about 1 week into the tour when Roth’s voice starts cutting, crapping out or simply failing altogether. (which in any of their older tours, always seemed to happen)

I think we all should be happy that this tour and how it is set up is happening at all. We all get another opportunity to see EVH ripit up and alex bang it out. Here’s a little Vanhalen story from 1984 Joe Louis Arena Detroit Michigan. I was sixteen years old and my best friend and I drove to Joe Louis arena after school to wait for VH to come to Joe Louis. They were performing there that weekend in those days they would sell out three nights friday, sat and sun. We took every dime we had and bought tickets from a scalper. Once we had the tickets we waited with a huge crowd outside a side door of the arena waiting for there limo to pull up. We wanted more than anything else in the world to see the greatest rock and roll band of all time. Well we were distraught when we found out the limo had pulled up to another door instead of ours. We figured we just missed them well we did king of sort of. So we were standing around there with the crowd. Then another limo pulls up and someone got out of it looked like a big fat man with a big hat on just pushed through the crowd everyone thought it was someone who worked for VH. When he got to the door he took off the coat and all the stuff pulled of his hat and his long blond hair came down. It was none other than David Lee Roth he had pulled a fast one on us it was him that walked right past the crowd we were all in shock. We also had crappy seats in those days no one cared about anything we managed to get as close to the stage as we could by standing on a rail next to the stage just holding on all night we were so close no one at the arena was worried about safety or anything. It was VH in there prime and they were terrific a memory I can never forget.

Just hope he dyes his hair solid (everybody does it today) lets it hang naturaly (if still long-ish) wears simple shirts, nothing wild and same with pants like decent looking jeans (worn a little at the kness or not) just didnt like his tied up hair, texas chain saw massacre pants and shoes of the ‘04 tour. god did he look like crap.

Maybe Eddie and Alex should learn something from The Police, Motley Crue, Kiss, etc. Not all members got along when they reunited even after years of being apart, but they all walked out on stage together with a big smile on their face pretending to all be friends (not to mention the incentive of a shitload of money to do so).

The 50 dates being announced on monday are just the 1st leg of the N. American part of the tour. The STONES are a bunch of 70 yr old washed up has beens pretending to be what they were. Jagar acting like a girl on stage, it’s almost as sickening as having to look at BOY GOERGE. Have you seen DLR on stage? I have, and he is ripped, and looking like an athlete, because he is. Pull up YOUTUBE and watch some of his concert footage, and you’ll see why he is considered the GENUINE ARTICLE. He is the prototype for what all ROCKSTARS aspire to be. Endless oneliners, he invented what so many since him copy on stage. VAN HALEN is Limpe biscuit meets Jimmy Buffet, meets led zepplin, and on, and on, and on. VH is so deep most people cann’t even comprehend, and grasp, how talented they really are. I include Hagar, and Anthony in that.

This tour is very simple: It’s the Dave and Eddie reunion. Plain and simple. This is NOT a Van Halen reunion. It cannot be without Mikey on bass & BACKGROUND VOCALS. I’ve been waiting for this (no joke) since 4/1/85, so I have to go see them, but they need to get Mikey back in the band. It’s a very nice gesture for Ed to have his son tour with them…but that’s not Van Halen. Nuff said…

Now, over 20 years later without a new album to tour behind it seems like a nostalgia cash-in to pay the bills. If your expecting a bunch of 50+ year olds to pick up where they left off, forget it. Like the Police Tour, until they get a head of steam behind them it will be more miss than hit if it lasts that long.

VH is my favorite alltime band. Never seen DLR live, but was a fan since about ‘79 or ‘80, and knew all the albums inside and out. Then comes Sammy. Not the “real” VH; different, but got used to it and accepted it. Saw a show of every album tour W/ Sammy. But it seemed like EVH turned into a prick about Sammy, and what happened to Mike? He gets booted for a teenager after all those years? (I don’t know the whole story.) Unfortunately, I just can’t get into it. I would pay any amount of $ to see the original 4, but that’s it. I can’t take this -who’s in,who’s out crap. The vh bros. just turned me off with the attitudes.

I have read in other forums that people are distraught because Eddie got a haircut. A haircut for crap sakes! That tells me some people ARE expecting to see the Van Halen of 1984. If you are not one of those people, then that’s in your favor.

I saw VH with Roth 14 times between 1978 and 1984 and, at the time, they were awesome. I saw them during their prime, but feel no need to revisit the past. You go and have a good time, Miss Taffy. Hopefully, Eddie will stay sober long enough for people to get their money’s worth.

BTW, my eyes and ears are excellent, excellent overall health and I must have my shower every day.

When sammy took over in 85 it truly turned into “van hagar” a much different band. like openening up a vintage bottle of wine or whiskey thats been locked away un-ceremonously, this band will take its moment on stage once again and to a whole new genreation that wasnt even born yet.

I saw VH 3 times with Roth - A VH concert was the GOD of all concerts - Dave would just stand there on the front of the stage, not saying a word, and the crowd would go bezerk. Dave was/is the ULTIMATE frontman for VH. (Rock Monster U R WRONG!!) Eddie also changed the way the electrical guitar was played when the 1st VH album came. Every hard rock guitarist that followed in the 80’s was just trying to sound like Eddie. To have Eddie and Dave back together is a dream come true!! I loved Montrose & Standing Hampton and all, but Sammy just wasn’t the same. Dave is the real deal!!!

I have been a fan since the 70’s of the mighty VH. I am not convinced that this is real this time. Kind of strange but why wouldn’t there be anything concrete on there website by now ? Does anyone else think that old Edward is playing us again ? What do you guys think?

When touring with Sammy, the set list always included the songs from the Roth era. So now when the tables have turned, Roth should be singing some of Sammy’s stuff too. Unless, Roth is really full of himself, he should give the fans what they want. Remember, Hagar lasted in the band much longer and had a lot more hits for the fans of VH! All the Hagar haters should also give Sammy a break coz he’s almost 60 now, and the eldest out of the entire lot.

As a life-time VH fan, this is what every “true” VH fan has been waiting for. Here’s what I think has been happening (behind the scenes) and what is to come:::::

Eddie has actually gotten healthy and better for all of the right reasons. Think about it, have you heard anything about him since he got out of rehab on a “bad” note? Trust me, Britney, Lindsey, Paris all LOVE the publicity and don’t give a shit about truly getting better. To me, this says that Eddie is truly committed to both himself and his fans.

I’ll bet he, Alex and Wolfgang have been working tirelessly on sounding….amazing. Yes, I’d love to see Michael but as they say…

David Lee Roth: My money says that he’s been working with a voice coach and will “shock” everyone. Think about it, do you think he and other’s in his camp don’t read the “reviews” and comments made by people?

The show will be “legendary.” Contrary to what I think many are thinking, this will not be a “thrown togther” show just for the money.

The Beetles started out in San Diego, moved to L.A., made a significant impression on the then burgeoning rock counterculture of the 1960s, and only then spent SOME studio time in the Liverpoolian area. I said in an earlier post that I have a great deal of respect for 70s and 80s bands, which are by no means current or “young.” You chose to only hear The Beatles comment, though. Speaking of which: I don’t care about The Beatles BECAUSE I’ve listened to their music. It bores me… which means I’m pubescent, evidently (which is odd, considering I’m 25… oh, well). I tend to listen to music with heavy guitar riffs and virtuoso solos… I don’t recall too many of those from The Beatles.

Oh, and I always thought Bush got elected by people thinking that a set of beliefs can be inherently right or wrong, not subjective. You know; that whole “you’re either with me or against me” attitude. Apparently, the fact that I’m ambivalent to The Beatles invalidates my music tastes. It’s not like music preference varies from person to person, or something.

I have had the awesome opportunity to see VH between ‘82 and ‘04 26 times and I will go see them no matter who is on stage with them. VH rocks!

I am somewhat torn between excitement, ticket agnst and pity over this reunion tour.

I saw VH for the first time during their “Diver Down” tour in 1982 when I was 11 years old, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I don’t remember it, but I know I was there!

This would have been the greatest comeback in rock and roll history, barring the ressurrection of John Bonham, if only Mikey were playing with them. He offered such a unique and irreplaceable voice for backup vocals that has ever been heard!

I guess I could wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which one fills first.

Hope they plan on coming to hampton roads VA . a blast from the past. love them!!!!!!! Glad they’re back.

I agree with Go VH! on some levels. I think there has to be a balance between what you like and what is new. Rock-n-roll (my opinion) is all about now. I would just like to see RS promote younger bands more than remincing about the old times. VH, U2, Rolling Stones are all in the Rock-n-roll Hall of fame. I don’t watch old baseball games and say it was better than the new games. I appreciate the old with the new, but I honestly believe there should be a balance.

I don’t even care much for the Kings of Leon, but if you asked me who should get the cover of Rolling Stone, the Police with no new album or Ryan Adams, hell I am gonna say Ryan Adams. The Stings, the Bonos, the Keith Richards, we know what they have say, they have been saying it for thirty years. I’d like to see something new, even if I don’t really care for it. I’ll make my opinion, but RS should promote it.

I’m not going to argue with you, but I still don’t understand this mindset many people have of associating time era or “relevance” with a band… it’s music! Who cares if it’s new or old? I graduated from high school in 2000, and I’m a total nut for 70s and 80s bands. By the same token, I don’t really care about The Beatles. I don’t care what impact they’ve had, their music doesn’t interest me.

If you like new bands, then say you like them for the music they make, not because they’re a part of “your generation.” Give your own taste in music more credit.

I liked Brian Pauls when he used to sing in Van Halen. Remember those two months before Diver Down came out when they did those shows w/o Dave? That was some great experimentation. Dave didn’t mind because he knew Brian had no presence. Plus, Brian and the rest of the group knew it was just temp fun.

This is true. However, Van Halen had their only #1 song with Dave. They had plenty of number #1 songs on the rock billboards with Sammy, but no #1s across the board.

Also, bear in mind that while the Sammy albums did hit #1 when they came out, the Dave albums have posted better sales in the long run.

I’m not saying one is better than the other; they’re two different bands, practically. It’s all about your personal preference. Still, the sales numbers are a bit subjective.

I went on iTunes last night and listened to clips of the top five songs by the Kings of Leon. I was… underwhelmed. That’s the future? Why? I didn’t hear one thing that I haven’t heard from a dozen mediocre indie rock bands already. An unremarkable singer backed up by banal music.

I’ve noticed that in all the music I like — Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Van Halen — I could listen to just the music, without the singing, and enjoy it just as much. That’s not a knock on the singers of those bands, it’s a testament to the great musicianship of the other band members. Kings of Leon…? I was bored by their songs as they were. If it was just the instrumental music, I’d probably fall asleep from boredom.

I know I must sound like a dick right now, but all I’m trying to say is that I don’t understand what makes Kings of Leon so special. Is it just because they’re new? I listen to music based on what I find to be quality, regardless of time area. Kings of Leon aren’t terrible, but they really did nothing for me.

I don’t think anyone here actually realizes how big Van Halen was. From 1980 to 1984 they were the best thing around and no one would argue. Guns and Roses can’t compare to Van Halen because if you listen to Van Halen 1 to Appetite for Destruction you would realize that Van Halen 1 in a much more complete album and each song kicks ass, while in AFD you end up skipping half the song.

And finally for those saying that the middle 4 albums were filler, why don’t you look at the record charts and see that in those albums Van Halen had more hits and better sales than the white stripes.

For those of you who think VH “created” Rock and Roll…get a life and branch out a little! This show, if really happens might be decent but ALL concert ticket prices are out of control. I for one LOVE concerts but for really good sseats or the pit, you have to pay out the *ss. Let’s see a real band step up to the plate and put a decent ceiling on ticket prices!

I’d rather see Mikey on the tour, but he made his choice (and the best one for him actually) to be a free agent rather than being OWNED by the VH Brothers. This way he can hang out at Cabo and Hard Rock and sell hot sauce and be on a FUN tour. Even a clean and sober Eddie is gonna fight with Roth the entire tour (separate tour busses from the start and it will get worse!)

Az is correct. I think the older bands had their day and thank god, Rock is better for it. But I think RS should concentrate on the future (Kings of Leon, White Stripes, Arctic Monkeys) than VH, the Police, the Who, GNR, U2 and the Stones. Time to move on.

There’s certainly been a lot of criticism of poor young Wolfie before we’ve even heard him play. Forgive me if I missed something, but was it Eddie’s decision to have Wolfgang over Micheal Anthony? Or is Michael Anthony just not interested for some reason. We can all WANT to see our old favorite bands reunite with the original members, but when someone is unwilling for some reason, what are ya gonna do?

It CAN be. I believe most Van Halen fans (myself included) would disagree with you, but sure, I guess you COULD call those four albums filler. Just because most casual listeners only recognize the “big” songs doesn’t invalidate the songs that got less air play. For a long time the only song by the White Stripes that I’d heard of was “Seven Nation Army.” Did that make the rest of their catalog “filler?” A White Stripes fan would probably say no.

And what’s a real music fan? I’m sorry, but music taste is purely subjective. There is no such thing as “real music.” The only thing it can really be judged on is how well it accomplishes what it sets out to do. I have my preferences, but that’s all they are. I vastly prefer Eddie’s playing to Jack White’s. I like how Michael Anthony and David Lee Roth harmonized on albums 1-6. Does that make one band better than the other? No.

If you don’t like Van Halen, that’s fine. But I’m not going to apologize for preferring them to the White Stripes. And if you like the White Stripes that much more than Van Halen, than why not save your posts for articles on the White Stripes? Commenting on a band you don’t like seems like a waste of time to me.

David, the vocalist that started Van Halen is back. Eddie, probably one of the greatest guitarist is going to be their. thats all i need. won’t miss the show.

Best show I ever saw was VH. But I passed on their last tour and will pass on this one too because they aren’t doing anything relevent, no new material, just a nostalgia act. Which is exactly why I passed on the recent Police show without giving it a second thought.

So Ed was a bit too hammered during the ‘04 tour. Don’t mean he won’t have his chops back now. And Eddie wasted and sucking sounds very similar to the new distorted mish mash everyone loves on the new White Stripes album. Funny.

Well, that’s where music taste comes in. If you like the style of music that VH performs, than there’s a reasonable chance you won’t like the three bands you’ve just listed. Personally, I’m a huge VH fan. I find the White Stripes to be ok, I don’t know who the Kings of Leon are, and I can’t stand what I’ve heard from the Arctic Monkeys so far.

Eddie has shown whose band it is, so there’s the element of control-freak, Alex is just in tow like Charlie Watts anytime the bread-and-butter calls, DLR at this point is like Axl (every time you see him you remember being in grade school and wearing shirts without sleeves).
