Chicago rapper and former Golden Arches employee Twista was booted from McDonald’s 10-city parking lot tour this weekend over concerns about his lyrics. In a statement released Saturday, McDonald’s explained its reasons for firing its one-time patty-flipper: “Although we respect free speech and artistic expression, we do not condone or perpetuate derogatory language.” Maybe the fast-food giant was still upset about Twista’s involvement in the Jay-Z/Timbaland collaboration “Party People,” which namedrops arch-nemesis Burger King. Speaking of grillin’ and hip-hop, at least Twista had a better week than the seven-year-old Florida boy who was rushed to an ER after choking on a bootleg set of grills (they’re still in his stomach — for now). Twista — and the very unlucky Bobby Tedesco — will certainly never listen to “Look at the Grillz” the same way again.
