Guns N’ Roses’ Early Days: Exclusive Photos From ‘Reckless Road’ Author Marc Canter

The new book Reckless Road by Marc Canter — an amateur photographer and owner of L.A.’s famed Canter’s Deli — documents Guns N’ Roses’ early years via never-before-seen photos and lots of memorabilia. Canter, who was a childhood friend of Saul Hudson (also known as Slash) was just a teenager when he began shooting photos of his friends’ band. Canter was there, snapping away at GN’R’s first show on June 6, 1985 and he and his camera followed the band’s every subsequent move. The book, which came out Friday, can be ordered with one of six custom covers featuring Axl, Slash, Izzy, Duff, Steven or a full band shot.

…of own personal choice are Eddie Vedder & Chris Cornell. Both are very powerful. Chris Cornell’s recent concert blew everyone away. And Pearl Jam doesn’t need an introduction. They endure.

Axl disappoints his fans anyway – he doesn’t seem to be very loyal (history of not showing up for his own concerts).

look I’m nearly sixteen and I love Guns and roses. and there are so many people younger than me that love the band too, mostly the appetite 4 destruction album. to get people that weren’t even born when it was released its a good sign that they are good!!!!! No Awesome. all they need to do is put aside there differences (no one’s perfect) and re-group. It’d be the biggest and best re-group ever.
