Santana said no to play, Clapton invited them “all”, but some of the had gigs… Clapton is better than Trucks to slide…

I was there last night and it was amazing!!! Clapton played with Winwood. They played “Can’t Find My Way Home”, “In the Prescence of the Lord”, “Pearly Queen”, “Dear Mr. Fantasy”, and “Had to Cry Today”. Winwood also jammed on “Cocaine” with EC and Derek Trucks and Doyle Bramhill II. I never thought that I would see those songs played live (with the two of them)! This was the high point for me, but every other act/jam session was great too! Best concert ever!

Ummmmmmm….. Van Halen please?!?!

TobyTyler | 7/26/2007, 3:05 pm EST

Peter Stroud is Sheryl Crow’s guitar player. He can easily hold his own with the Heavyweights.

Mr. Blues | 7/26/2007, 12:00 pm EST

Derek Trucks and Johnny Winter on the same stage? This will be the greatest slide guitar performance of all time!

Brien Comerford | 7/26/2007, 11:55 am EST

Jeff Beck is the greatest living guitarist according to Brian May, David Gilmour, Slash, Eric Clapton, JImmy Page and Abe Zingher. He’s also an animal loving vegetarian and hot rod mechanic.

James | 7/26/2007, 10:39 am EST

“Why the fuck is Sheryl Crow playing there???? She can’t even fucking play guitar!!!!!!”

So Clapton can bang her again.

batukaMAN | 7/26/2007, 10:09 am EST

Where the hell is Carlos Santana? Oh he must be promoting his new perfume or introducing his new line of women’s(?) shoes!! What the hell is going on with Carlos these days?

Chuckels | 7/26/2007, 9:49 am EST

Clapton & Windwood will reprise
“Blind Faith”. Johnny Winter will be joining Derek Trucks, Jeff Beck will join Clapton, all the Blues greats will Jam, and 1 or 2 more “suprises”.

By far the best concert of the year!!!

jungleland | 7/26/2007, 9:17 am EST

Leaving today from Atlanta.

Jeff Beck, Robert Cray, Robbie Robertson, Los Lobos, Jimmie Vaughan… I can’t freakin’ wait!

Word is they are having all of the artist colaborate, so they may put Sheryl Crow with Jeff Beck, Buddy Guy with John Mayer and HOPEFULLY Clapton with Steve Windwood

Doug | 7/26/2007, 7:14 am EST

World Lumberjack Championship(Hayward Wi.) has to take a back seat to this show. Musical History in the making..far out…

CaraElizabeth | 7/26/2007, 1:39 am EST

Why the fuck is Sheryl Crow playing there???? She can’t even fucking play guitar!!!!!!

The B-Man | 7/26/2007, 1:17 am EST

zizzle | 7/25/2007, 9:31 pm EST

Chicken House Willie | 7/25/2007, 8:01 pm EST

He’s never had a chin–but that’s never stopped him from playing riffs and pulling hot mamas.

Mr. Eertatic | 7/25/2007, 7:58 pm EST

Now that is funny….

Mr. "Pensylvania Dutch" | 7/25/2007, 6:52 pm EST
