What about reviewing the new Prince album?

Aaron D. | 7/24/2007, 10:05 pm EST

For the thousanth time, STOP THE STUPID VIDEO REVIEWS!!!

Last time I checked, more than two albums can be released on a single Tuesday.

lik roper | 7/25/2007, 12:27 am EST

If you don’t like them, don’t watch them, they still post reviews you can read on the site as well.

Hanson’s new album, “The Walk”, is awesome!!

That was the dumbest review I’ve read in ahwile, and this magazine goes further downhill.

WTF? | 7/25/2007, 11:27 am EST

The Con?
stupid rantings of lesbian journal keepers and nerds(no offence).

The YYY’s
first album was real good.
Now it’s over produced crap that sounds like Dido.

Sorry but the Con is boring. I first got a copy like a month ago and its kinda dull. Nothing like so Jealous. Nothing at all. Songs are very stripped and there not nearly as catchy.

BurtBacharach | 7/25/2007, 2:55 pm EST

I’d rather seen the Velvet Revolver review or Smashing Pumpkins or the…hell fucking anything other than these two musical artists. I enjoy the video reviews, by the way.

RIC | 7/25/2007, 5:27 pm EST

The Con is brilliant…and geeks are way cooler then bullshit rock stars who don’t know when to stop. GOD – as if people are still listening to the same guitar driven, angst rock n roll garbage (Velvet Revolver and the so-called Smashing Pumpkins?)….it’s over!!

How can you say the songs are really stripped? the album is SO produced. I agree, it’s nothing like so jealous but wouldn’t that be really boring to the audience, and not to mention creatively stifling to the artist. The Con is more subdued than So Jealous…doesn’t mean it’s any better or worse.

Shakespeare 2 T and S: I hate your emo poems.

T and S 2 Shakespeare: OMG! We’d totally be Allie n AJ if Indie wasn’t so the rage right now.

kitten | 7/26/2007, 1:14 am EST

YYY’s-are original and worth listening to. Pompous music critics will tell u they’ve sold out because they believe everyone who is worth listening 2 has sold out. This is because the critics are generally failed musicians. Karen O is an art star not an indie fad. Oh the pretentious backlash of too much eyeliner n tight jeans…

RIC | 7/26/2007, 10:22 am EST

agree with user below. i love the yeah yeah yeahs “new” sound, just like I loved their “old” one….(ps. smashing pumpkins album sucks! just have to throw that in there)

nate | 7/26/2007, 12:04 pm EST

Goodman’s smokin’ hot, I’d watch her review drying paint.

Raised By Bees | 7/26/2007, 1:49 pm EST

Bucky, I like Elizabeth’s frock. I want one!

Canker Sore | 8/3/2007, 2:52 pm EST

Goodman repeatedly pronounces “Yeah Yeah Yeahs” as “Yah Yah Yahs”, but can say “yeah” correctly when she’s not referring to the group. What gives?
