Good post, but with regards to Richard Fortus, don’t forget he played with the Psychedelic Furs, Love Spit Love and a good NYC band called Honky Toast. Let’s not forget Tommy Stinson’s brilliant solo album that was hailed in the pages of this very magazine. An extremely talented bunch of musicians and as anyone that has seen them over the past couple of years can testify, they are a true band. They have excellent chemistry.

If RollingStone had any fuckin brains and respect for the fans, they would be putting the recent incarnation of GnR on the front cover, not this. I do respect and expect RS to finally acknowledge a real band for the first time in a long time and it is the 20th Anniversary of Appetite for Destruction, but if this is going to be a big write up about the past with only present mentioning of Axl, Fink, Stinson, Bumblefoot, Fortus, and Ferrer/Mantia in the form of a Chinese Democracy diss or insult, I will personally stop reading RollingStone out of respect for the band.
