Man, what a killer line-up!! The Wu-Tang Clan, Shins and Panic! At the Disco!. And if this wasn’t great enough everone will be treated to Fergie, Sean Paul, and Crowded House???

I’m friggin flying out to Seattle that weekend no matter what the cost to see that powerhouse of a lineup. I’m sure tickets would sell out fast if it were just the Wu Tang Clan there. Man! I am so there!

Stuporfly | 7/6/2007, 1:23 pm EST

Jesus, what a shit lineup. I’d rather cut off my own cock and wear it as a moustache than suffer through that.

Can’t remember the last time I saw a decent line up. Flogging molly was good recently but I think that was it. Sigh.

Where is Rage for Monday night?

The Gym Class Heroes should be the headliners at that festival, all the way. I saw them when they played at the Sacramento County Fair right next to the “Dunk the Clown” game. Also they had a great gig at the House of Pancakes restaurant in my town and they were giving away free pancake syrup to all those who attended. Man, these guys kick ass.

The website is promising big news in July. The big news better not be John Legend and Fergie.

mike | 7/6/2007, 5:13 pm EST

Wow If Fergie is the Big Anouncement Im not spending my money this year. Maybe Ill see wu-tang. Otherwise Id rather go to Endfest and see the smashing pumpkins.

I’m going just to see wu-tang, the shins, kings of leon, devendra banheart, andrew bird, and art brut. That’s more than enough acts for 90 bucks.

Stuporfly | 7/6/2007, 10:05 pm EST

Oh, Art Brut? I’d actually pay the $90 just to see them.

ART BRUT! TOP OF THE POPS!

A lot of negative and sarcastic comments here this morning!! For those not in the know, Bumbershoot started as a small, local, “music fest”, that has grown very large in the 30 plus years since. Even without your favorite headliners, this is hands down one of the most fun of Seattle’s summer parties. Come with an open mind, enjoy some food , people watching, general “fun in the sun”.

Roco | 7/8/2007, 10:24 pm EST

The Kings of Leon are going to burn the Space Needle down!

Andre F. | 7/9/2007, 12:52 pm EST

It sounds like you couldn’t get anyone really relevant for the festival. Thats a shame. Maybe next year. I guess Seattle just isn’t a world class city just yet!

RenoDavid | 7/9/2007, 1:49 pm EST

Andre, nice try flamer.

Midget69 | 7/9/2007, 4:55 pm EST

Where’s the metal bands? Nice to have some dark/death metal bands to enjoy, still going though.

Eduardo Brambila | 9/4/2007, 5:49 pm EST

Tickets aren’t actually THAT expensive if you look at just the people who performed on mainstage. You’d pay 40+ to see most of them… with bumbershoot you see them and MORE! it’s an awesome festival
