wow… i found this when i was looking up Semisonic on Wikipedia, and it’s really depressing to see Closing Time on here. first of all i dont believe in bad music. some music appeals more to some than to others. people have the right to express their opinions but not so rudely as some of you here. its also a bit biased i myself cannot think of any songs that i believe should go on the list (I’m just to tired to think right now)

Happily you are very unlikely to ever hear it, but there’s a Dinosaur Jr song, the last track on the album “Bug” called Don’t. And it just has J Mascis screaming “WHYYYYYY DON’T YOU LIIIIIIIIIIKE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE?????!!!” in a voice that sounds like he’s being stabbed, over and over again. It’s absolutely unlistenable.

After a billion more plays, which are certain to happen, Stairway to Heaven will still be an indestructable masterpiece, just like the vast majority of the rest of Led Zeppelin’s output. I think what people are forgetting here is that pop trifle is exactly that and not trying to be much else.
