The Phil Spector Trial: We Watch Court TV So You Don’t Have To

6/26/07, 11:19 am EST

WHAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY?
LA criminologist Lynne Herold, the last witness for the prosecution, took the stand once more for cross-examination by the defense. Herold, who previously put Spector at close proximity to Lana Clarkson when she was shot, had to deal with a full-court press from Spector lawyer Linda Kenney-Baden, who asked Herold virtually identical questions over and over again in an attempt to reveal flaws in Herold’s procedure.
IS THIS GOOD OR BAD FOR SPECTOR?
Both. While Kenney-Baden was successful in casting Herold’s testimony as opinion rather than fact, her extremely aggressive questioning style came off as overbearing and was uncomfortable to watch.
HAIR & WARDROBE UPDATE:
Spector went for a blue theme, donning a navy-blue jacket and tie accented by a periwinkle shirt.

He’s gonna fry ’cause he’s different man, that’s the only reason. The world hates us that’s different. Why can’t we live in peace???
