I have a hard time seeing Positively 4th Street as an angry love song. It was a very pointed attack at the folk community and in particular Irwin Silber, who had written his “Open Letter to Bob Dylan” in Sing Out magazine. It is truly an angry song, but perhaps not a love song.

Too many songs on here for being well-known, when there are much better (and more bitter) songs out there. In all truthfullness, there is just way too many to narrow down to a 20 song list.

Smile is by far the most pissed. But don’t think twice…. is the most bitter. I mean nothing’s even close.

Jack White steals all his riffs,lyrics & such.

“you dont know what love is (you just do as your told)” has been around for a f*ckin week and it makes the list but “kiss off” by violent femmes is nowhere to be seen but in reality bites…

I would not call “One” an angry love song.
