The Phil Spector Trial: We Watch Court TV So You Don’t Have To

WHAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY
LA criminologist Lynne Herold, the prosecution’s last witness, was back on the stand yesterday after a daylong recess. Herold spoke at length about the blood splatter from the gunshot that killed Lana Clarkson. First, she testified that blood was found on the left inside pocket of Spector’s white jacket. Also, a small spot of blood found on the jacket proved to have traveled only two or three feet maximum before landing, meaning Spector was close to Clarkson, and according to Herold’s opinion, facing Clarkson. Clarkson was also seated when she was shot, which beared similarity to some previous witnesses.

IS THIS GOOD OR BAD FOR SPECTOR
Bad. Herold is the prosecution’s big gun, and she’s wrapping up months’ worth of forensics jargon and evidence into a nice little guilty verdict. Herold is scheduled to face the defense today.

HAIR & MAKEUP UPDATE
Spector, still sporting his new wig, wore a gray jacket, canary yellow shirt, and a shiny, electric blue tie that screamed “I’m so getting off the hook.”

To Phil: You are really a piece of w’ork. I could have been in my dear friends shoes, because we both write music, and knew nothing of your sick, megalomaniacal sociopathology. It must reallly be just too traumatic for you to have had SO MANY FAILURES MUSICALLY lately, and to have a pure spirit call you out on it. I feel sorry for Chris L. or any other uninformed being who is living in your past.. Musically, you are dead All of the money, and guns, and wigs and bullshit cannot taKe away from the fact that you are a neant, as the Frecnh say. You should pray for the death penalty, because your life is truly OVER. Your music is for shit. You were just so lucky to have been expoosed to such talenrt, because THEY all know how inferior you are. Peace out brother, FAILURE. Yeah Phil…”Come and get you then”, and then put you in a cage as a specatcle, like Guzman, and then put you in a cell 6 by 6, DEEP underground, where you can come up and out for ten minutes, just once a year. Many of your musical cohorts, who are my friends, want to see you in prison…..getting the treatment, but I think that my prescription is the best, and all that you deserve. And by the way, you should take care of your family first and Lana’s, and then donate the rest of your luckily earned fortune to real people on this Earth who have really struggled to survive…. Iraq, Palestine, Gaza, Israel, Guantanamo, Afghanistan, Darfur, South African rape of babies.. Female infanticide in China …just to name a few, in case you have never heard of any of the afore-mentioned.
