See, the probelm with addng Queen to this list is that you have to get all three sports anthems:
“We Will Rock You”
“Another One Bites the Dust”
and “We are the Champions”
but “Song 2″ could fly too, I suppose…

Hello Rolling Stone:

A few friends of mine were visiting this weekend and we came across the subject of Bruce Springsteen (whom we all love), but can you tell me what has happened to Julianne Phillips? It’s as if the Lady has dropped off the face of the earth. I don’t know that kind of pain and I’m not going to go there; I just want to know, if you know, how she’s doing and if she has remarried and has a family.

Thanks,

Songstre ss

And it may have only happened in a movie, but who can look at Charlie Sheen and not hear The Trogg’s “Wild Thing” from Major League? I think the Phllie fans used to sing too when Mitch Williams entered the game.

almostblue | 6/17/2007, 7:48 pm EST

“Pump It Up” — Elvis Costello

Pinhead Joe | 6/17/2007, 9:30 pm EST

Blitzkrieg Bop — The Ramones (HEY HO! THIS SHOULD BE AN ANTHEM BY NOW). Also Rock and Roll High School.

Death or Glory — The Clash (”We’re raise trouble, we’re gonna fight ’til you lose”). London Calling is a good sports anthem, too, but maybe it’s too British.

Like a Rolling Stone — Bob Dylan (Play it to rub it in when your opponent is losing bad: How does it feeeel?)
