I just hate when people call her hip-hop just because they couldnt categorize songs like wind it up(its a mix of Drum n bass Electronica Glam rock by the way…she said so herself) not hip-hop!!

I’m sorry but all of you people know nothing about music. ND collectively decided to take a break, it was not all Gwen. Broaden your taste in music really. I loved Gwen solo stuff. It was suppose to be different then ND. You can’t say ND music is better then her solo music. You can’t compare the two. Two completely different styles. I always new ND would be back and I’m glad they are, but no need to diss her solo projects. Grow up!

cant wait to hear the new no doubt!! i grew up listenin to them so when gwen took a break to do her solo albums it was sad. gwen is an amazing artist and has a amazing voice. and had a few amazing songs, but i prefer her to the punk rock that she started out as then the hip hop/r&b artist

Not badges of emotional truth. But I am a little concerned about Gwen missing out on all the song writing, though…My favorite album was ROS, and that’s when she wrote the most…

it’s about time that my favorite band comes back! i just hope it’s better than rock steady. i was a little let down by that one after the awesomeness of return of saturn.

I loved Gwen’s solo stuff but it does not hold a candle to No Doubt. I have been waiting for new ND stuff for years and it is nice to know that it is finally going to happen.

I am not generally a fan of the kind of pop music Gwen has been making the last few years. But it is catchier and more fun than most of its type. Its also exactly what she said she was going to do. No Doubt did some very solid work and I hope it continues. No Doubt is better than solo Stefani but solo Stefani proves she can do more than I would have expected.

I like no doubt but hey let’s face it: Gwen Stefani is 3/4 ND, the guys just limite her!, and for everybody if you didn’t see it and feel it comming (Gwen solo career) on Rock Steady You actually are the crap, ok the sweet escape album it’s not l.a.m.b. but it’s no that bad and l.a.m.b was just summertime anthem you know that the best song is what you waiting for and not hollaback girl, i’ll be expecting the back on track of no doubt i really want rock/dance the best rock/dance the world ever saw, heard and felt!, it would be amazing if they do rock/dance!!!!

Gwen’s solo albums were obviously targetted to a different type of crowd. I liked a couple songs and as for the rest, really wasn’t my thing. It takes a lot of guts to do something different and creating music her fans aren’t expecting. Her solo albums were totally unexpected and for that, I give her props. I personally would’ve taken out some songs but that’s just my opinion.

Awesome! I love No Doubt and Gwen’s solo output, so this is wonderful news for me! Hopefully they will return to the pop rock sound that made them famous. Can’t wait for more news!

I am excastic that No Doubt is getting back together. There is no doubt (no pun intended) that Gwen Stefani is a strong performer on her own but the ska influenced tunes that No Doubt punches out is worth having around again.
