- Chart Roundup: R. Kelly shot straight to the top of the Billboard charts as his new album Double Up sold 386,000 copies in its first week. Fellow big sellers Maroon 5 and Linkin Park came in at #2 and #3, respectively. This week’s most impressive climber was Amy Winehouse’s Back To Black, which jumped from #11 to #6 on the strength of her Rolling Stone cover … and her appearance at the MTV Movie Awards, and the fact that Best Buy sold her album for $7.99 last week, and the fact that said album is awesome. As is the norm these days, total sales were down 10.6 percent compared to the same week last year.
