Babyface | 5/12/2008, 1:03 am EST

EC’s “wonderful tonight” isn’t on here because he can’t sing. Listen to Babyface’s version…much better. Not to mention he should be somewhere on here for one of his songs.

Kandace. | 4/11/2008, 10:51 pm EST

Slowing dancing in a burning room by john mayer should definately be on here.

Alain | 3/31/2008, 9:30 pm EST

every body hurts by REM I think is the best that’s all

*whatevwhocares* | 3/30/2008, 3:50 pm EST

where is I’ll Be by Edwain McCain

JessiMay | 3/24/2008, 6:41 pm EST

What about…
Cause we’ve ended as Lovers by Jeff Beck
or
Slow dancing in a burning room by John Mayer

julian w | 3/19/2008, 6:28 am EST

I def agree that “Waiting for a girl like you” by Foreigner is a must have on here.

Lauren | 3/6/2008, 7:49 am EST

okay i dont know how long ago these were writting but ‘lips of an angel’ should not be on that list. yes i think its a good song but dude is singing about cheating on his girlfriend..listen to the lyrics people

tilda | 3/3/2008, 4:11 am EST

Changes was a ballad written by Black Sabbath chorus goes “I’m going through changes”. Has piano accompaniment.

Jess | 2/28/2008, 9:42 pm EST

I totally agree with the number one but what about “Because you loved me” by Celine Dion…? That is a top song… Madonna’s song shouldn’t be up that high… But my favourite would have to be “Without you” By Harry Nilsson.. That is a beautiful song.

AA27 | 2/27/2008, 4:39 am EST

Quote - “Can anybody tell me what band performed the songs title CHANGES?It was the 80’s slow rock.”

That would be the band “Tesla” in 1986.

KL | 2/18/2008, 5:09 pm EST

Lips Of An Angel by Hinder should totally be added yo the list.

aaron | 2/16/2008, 7:15 pm EST

im in grade 8 and last time i was at a dance was yesterday and the list is off in my oppinion. in the top 5 would be amazing by aerosmith, goodbye my lover by james blunt, ill be waiting by lenny kravitz, wonderful tonight by eric clapton, and lips of an angel by hinder

daniela | 2/12/2008, 8:06 pm EST

heroes by david bowie
fields of gold by sting

Viventis | 2/10/2008, 2:28 pm EST

Almost Forgot:
“Going Home” by Kenny G The absolutely perfect slow dance beat.

Viventis | 2/10/2008, 1:58 pm EST

Can you even slow dance to the Cure’s “Love Song”?

No List would be complete without “Waiting For A Girl Like You” from Foreigner or Sting’s “Fields Of Gold.” I would also add “More Than Words” by Extreme.

Anonymous | 2/4/2008, 9:20 pm EST

For Changes, maybe your thinking David Bowie?

evergreen | 2/3/2008, 1:15 pm EST

We Belong Pat Benetar
Time After Time Cyndi Lauper

Anonymous | 2/3/2008, 11:36 am EST

Can anybody tell me what band performed the songs title CHANGES?It was the 80’s slow rock.

sheri | 1/16/2008, 3:05 pm EST

I am still searching for song dont remember the bands name it was early 90s i think, slow song video was in black and white guy had long brown hair thats all I can think of

court | 1/15/2008, 4:36 pm EST

don’t wanna miss a thing? seriously? that has GOT TO BE one of the cheesiest, most unromantic songs I’ve ever heard.

David | 12/14/2007, 12:09 am EST

Let me just say i was searching for good slow dance songs and the number one on here is the first one i thought of so it is nice to know that i actually have good taste thanks for the list

Jimmy | 12/9/2007, 12:00 am EST

Good list but I do believe “Wonderful Tonight” by the Clap and “Love Hurts” by Nazareth should be on there :(

slowdancer | 11/19/2007, 2:52 pm EST

The title is best “slow *dance* songs,” not simply love songs, so it seems to me like some of these songs aren’t too appropriate for slow dancing, although they are love songs.

What about Michael Buble “You don’t know me” and Sade “Please send me someone to love?”

KS OMKOM KILKOM 3EERY FEEKOM

DJdannyBlanco | 11/9/2007, 2:00 pm EST

Wheres:
Ben E. King-Stand by me
Joe cocker- You are so Beautiful
its probably too upbeat for a slow dance but
Creed-higher

the big kahuna | 11/9/2007, 1:10 am EST

If you’re talking greatest of all times, you gotta look at all genres. 3 country songs come to mind and could easily rank in the top 10 or 15:
When You Say Nothing At All - Allison Krause
Just You & I - Eddie Rabbit & Crystal Gayle
The Dance - Garth Brooks (yeah, I know, its a song about retrospect and love lost, but it still gets those country girls moist!)

JD | 11/5/2007, 8:15 pm EST

With or Without You by U2? this is the greatest love song ever made. And what about Every Breath You Take by the Police? Iris is the best one on here

FramptonComesAlive | 10/24/2007, 1:07 am EST

I just got rejected by the girl I just asked to the dance. I’ve never slow danced before, but I’ll find someone. I hope the song of my first slow dance will be “Faithfully” by Journey.

anonymoose | 10/23/2007, 5:31 pm EST

they got number 1 right
why isn’t eric clapton - wonderful tonight on there?
november rain gnr probably should have been on this list before some of these.
as for stairway, i doesn’t exactly seem like a slow dance song
why no U2? one is great slow dancer

G-Nasty | 10/23/2007, 8:48 am EST

Where’s the Backstreet Boys?

????? | 9/16/2007, 2:54 pm EST

where’s sleepwaker by johnny and santo?

joe | 9/6/2007, 3:07 am EST

iris by the goo goo dolls was a big one in my day. i adore led zeppelin, but i dont see how one could slow dance to stairway to heaven. unchained melody should of taken #1 and pavement should be at #2, imo.

tehraaay | 8/25/2007, 1:00 am EST

by the looks of those charts Zach Efron should be up there….

what happened to songs with some good beats?

god, this list is gaaaay

Beefjerky | 7/30/2007, 8:44 pm EST

In my time, it was Comfortably numb and Stairway to heaven, those were the greatest, and one or the other ended every dance!!!

joe | 7/22/2007, 7:57 pm EST

every rose has it’s thorn should be up there by poison

mckinney | 7/15/2007, 7:24 pm EST

greatest slow dance songs ever? well then, where the hell is eric clapton’s “wonderful tonight”?

mckinney | 7/15/2007, 7:24 pm EST

November Rain gnr !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marcelo | 7/3/2007, 3:10 pm EST

I must to have something in my eyes, cause I can’t see Purple Rain there… I need a doctor!!!!!

DRE | 7/3/2007, 12:25 am EST

Yo all these songs are great but the best slow song ever is (I Swear _ all 4 one)

monty | 6/28/2007, 12:27 pm EST

Madonna doesnt belong on the list, at least not that high.

Some classics of 90s are missing. Where are Whitney, Mariah and Celine, the ultimate divas? They had great slow dance songs on their albums, better than some that made the list.

Anonymous | 6/27/2007, 1:24 pm EST

madonna’s track should have been at number1!

Paul Chain | 6/26/2007, 7:38 pm EST

I would trade “True Colors” for “Time After Time” both of them from Cyndi Lauper. I would also add Tina Turner’s “Private Dancer”. Thanks.

Maixmo | 6/22/2007, 6:18 pm EST

What’s up with all the “very white” etc comments? I have seen some lists here that are “very black,” and I know some very pale blues singers that can make the moon cry. The list has some great songs and they go together nicely as a collection. But as others have mentioned, there are some top slow songs that should of been on there. Peace.

Lexicon | 6/19/2007, 10:16 am EST

Led Zeppelin is my all-time favorite band but how do you slow dance to “Stairway To Heaven.” The end of the song isn’t that slow and I can’t see how anyone can dance to this song. You might as well be slow dancing to “Dust In The Wind” by Kansas.

jda | 6/19/2007, 9:58 am EST

The Flamingos “I Only Have Eyes For You” is NUMBER ONE in my book. Glad it’s rated as high as it is on this list. Just a great love song!

Meredith | 6/19/2007, 8:59 am EST

I definitely agree - Stairway to Heaven was the main slow slong to end a dance to when I was growing up. This list was a horrible list in general, at least you got Lady in Red right.

Stephen A. Davis | 6/19/2007, 12:53 am EST

Without a doubt Alphaville’s “Forever Young” and “Poop Chute Tonight” by Paul Simon should easily be #1 & #2

TapTap | 6/18/2007, 5:41 pm EST

Rush Rush-Paula Abdul
Vision of Love- Mariah Carey

Jenny | 6/18/2007, 3:15 pm EST

I would have to say that Love of a Lifetime by Firehouse, is the one I remember from high school.

Kari | 6/18/2007, 2:39 pm EST

When I was in Junior High school (during the Mid-80’s) every school dance ended with Stairway to Heaven. That was THE slow song to dance to. Funny that was the first one that popped into my head all these years later.

Lexicon | 6/18/2007, 10:17 am EST

I agree with a poster that “Wicked Game” by Chris Isaak should definitely be on the list.

I would have put “Just Like Heaven” - The Cure.

Others I would have included:

“Could It Be I’m Falling In Love?” - Drifters or Spinners (not sure)

“More Than Words” - Extreme

“If You Don’t Know Me” - ?

“Holding Back The Years” - Simply Red

“Best of My Love” - Eagles

“True” - Spandau Ballet

meena | 6/18/2007, 9:07 am EST

pavement. that’s right. although major leagues is far more fitting.

Mr Smooth | 6/16/2007, 8:52 am EST

When I was a teenager and these things mattered it was always either

I’m not in love (10cc) or

If you leave me now (Chicago)

stan | 6/12/2007, 7:45 pm EST

slow dance as in slow. The Dells “Stay in my corner” 6min. & 10 seconds of really slow grind music

pscudmizzle | 6/12/2007, 7:09 pm EST

A bunch of pinheads I knew (as if I knew anyone else). Did slow dancing to the Ramones debut. By the time we got to “Chainsaw” everyone had whizzed themselves.

Paul McCartney | 6/12/2007, 6:40 pm EST

I don’t think any of these really have a bloody chance to be on any all time list…sorry, mate. Cheers*

Choo | 6/11/2007, 7:26 pm EST

I already thought this was a lame idea for a list, and then you put one of the worst songs in the history of the world at the top to prove my point. OK, maybe I’m exaggerating, but it’s definitely the worst song by a band that has made many great songs in the past.

dujuan311 | 6/11/2007, 5:59 pm EST

man, this list is white as hell. how about “prototype” by outkast?

emmalee | 6/11/2007, 5:49 pm EST

No seriosuly… WHERE is Wonderful Tonight? And whoever said “At last” By Etta James… that one’s good too. And what about “I’ll Be Seeing You?” And “Forever Young” by Alphaville too and I don’t cre who you are “All My Life” by KC and JoJo….

Pretty much, this list saddens me greatly.

Baobab | 6/11/2007, 4:03 pm EST

“Dance Wit Me Slow” by Beth Nielsen Chapman, “Just For You’ by Alan Price, “I’m Your Man” by Leonard Cohen, “Nights In White Satin” by Moody Blues, “Yellow Moon” by The Neville Brothers and of course “Crazy” (look out for Willie Nelson/Susan Tedeschi version). But “Sensitive Kind” by J.J. Cale is certainly on top!

ef | 6/11/2007, 11:13 am EST

when we dance /sting

have a little faith in me /john hiatt, though my friend played the delbert mcclinton cover at his reception

vernieb | 6/11/2007, 10:47 am EST

Uhhh…”Colour My World” by Chicago.

vernieb | 6/11/2007, 10:46 am EST

Hello? Where is “Colour My World” by Chicago? That was “The” slow dance song of the early seventies.

Rich | 6/10/2007, 2:35 pm EST

No no no no nonononono

If you’re going to have an Aerosmith song, it should be “Dream On”. And where’s “Dream Weaver?”

America has gone insane.

joycemorrison | 6/10/2007, 8:05 am EST

alright, just a couple more:

“By Your Side”, Sade
“Smoke Gets In Your Eyes”
“Feels Like Home”
“To Make You Feel My Love”, Garth Brooks
“Lonesome Town”, Ricky Nelson

… yep, gotta have them sappy country songs up there.

joycemorrison | 6/10/2007, 5:10 am EST

i luv that most of the songs listed are from the 80s and 90s. i mean, only Aerosmith’s is a “recent” one. i think it says alot for the thinking caps of musicians these days.

nybosoxgal | 6/10/2007, 1:42 am EST

“Groovin” by Smokey Robinson and
John Hiatt’s “Have a Little Faith”

Joyce N. | 6/9/2007, 9:16 pm EST

Eagles - I Can’t Tell You Why.

nano | 6/9/2007, 5:43 pm EST

where are:

“Hotel California” (Eagles)
“Wish you were here” (Pink Floyd)
“Wonderful tonight” (Clapton)
“The rain song” (Zeppelin)

man, did you ever dance a slow break at the club?

at least you had guts to include “How deep is your love”

joycemorrison | 6/9/2007, 10:20 am EST

“King And Queen Of Hearts”, David Pomeranz
“Got To Believe In Magic”, David Pomeranz
“Right Next To Me”, Whistle*

*coz this is the first song me and my bfriend danced to.

antonbeefburger | 6/9/2007, 2:52 am EST

how could you - and your readers - omit 60’s and 70’s classics like “knights in white satin”, “knockin on heavens door” and, above all, “whiter shade of pale”?
maybe they were conceived to one of these songs…

C’mon RS,where is Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game”?

langelo68 | 6/8/2007, 11:46 pm EST

gosh, how has everyone forgotten Spanish Dancer from Steve Winwood’s Arc of a Diver?! or Hold On, from Steve Winwood’s first solo effort of 1977. Those ARE songs you HAVE to dance to; completely irresistible!! And to finish the perfect “Triad”, add Tired of Midnight blue, from George Harrison’s 1975 Extra Texture..that blues piano had it all!!

Spradlinn | 6/8/2007, 9:56 pm EST

‘Avalon’ by Roxy Music. Bryan Ferry croons so beautifully. The lyrics don’t have to say ‘I love you, you complete me’ to be a great slow sentimental song. Every wedding I’ve ever been to had Etta Jame’s version of ‘At Last’, as well as Clapton’s ‘Wonderful Tonight’. Step into the heartland of the U.S.A. and you’ll always here ‘Wondeful Tonight’ at the smallest, cheapest to the biggest, most expensive weddings.

Not a big Journey fan, but ‘Open Arms’ is pretty irresistable. My first slow dance was to ‘Crimson & Clover’. I’ve always hated that song, but I kept that in check to have that dance with the girl I was infatuated with!

I really like Dylan’s “Workingman’s Blues #2″ or “Spirit on the Water” for this list (both from Modern Times; that’s what I’ve been listening to lately)

Joyce N. | 6/8/2007, 8:55 pm EST

I’m really showing my age here, but my heart still skips a beat when I hear Johnny Rivers singing Swaying To The Music.

molsson | 6/8/2007, 8:55 pm EST

have to agree with glovy… my wife and I used Lennon’s version of Stand By Me as our wedding dance- the most perfect slow dance song ever, both for the lyrics and the way Lennon sings it. Absolute definition of love.

buensenor | 6/8/2007, 6:53 pm EST

Really showing my age, but how about Ronnie and the Hi-Lites’ “A Slow Dance”?

U2 - Love is Blindness (Bono did slow dance to this one with a chick from the crowd in the filmed ZooTV concert)

The Bee Gees - Someone Belonging to Someone

and indeed Come Back by Pearl Jam is a good one to slow dance to.

As a DJ I would be beaten if I didn’t close a wedding with “Wonderful Tonight”- Eric Clapton. So where is it at here? “Always and Forever”- Heatwave and come on “Into The Mystic” Van Morrison????????

slowdncr | 6/8/2007, 3:29 pm EST

I immediately went looking for Procol Harem’s “Lighter Shade of Pale”, but I guess you guys are too young to understand it’s significance in this catagory. Your list also shows just how mighty-white your staff is.

indigovoid | 6/8/2007, 3:23 pm EST

The Cure´s “Love Song” is too midtempo to be a good slow dance song. I nominate “Jersey Girl” (both the Bruce Springsteen and the Tom Waits versions) and also Bruce´s “Secret Garden”.

khia213 | 6/8/2007, 3:20 pm EST

Based on your list, I’m assuming you can’t dance.

Chilean-guy | 6/8/2007, 12:16 pm EST

Easy - Faith No More
and I second Elvis - Can’t help… or Love Me Tender, even better!

karlravage | 6/7/2007, 3:58 pm EST

More Than Words by Extreme is the ultimate!!!

Glovy | 6/7/2007, 2:40 pm EST

Ok. I just read the whole list. What were you all smoking when you wrote this? Boys 2 Men? Journey? Olivia Newton John?!

Why, why have you forsaken me?

Glovy | 6/7/2007, 2:36 pm EST

Seriously? Aerosmith? That is the shlockiest song ever. (to me. Please, Steven Tyler, don’t beat me up.)

I don’t know why, but for some reason I’ve always wanted to slow dance to John Lennon’s cover of Stand By Me.

And I’m not even a slowdance type of girl.

miccc | 6/7/2007, 11:01 am EST

‘Color My World’ by Chicago and ‘If’ by Bread. Yes they are a little sappy but chicks still dig em. Aerosmith are ok, but they are still the poor man’s Rolling Stones and the broke man’s Zeppelin.

Russ | 6/7/2007, 8:21 am EST

When I grew up, THE slow dance song was Color My World by Chicago. Not that I really like the song that much, but it was the perfect beat for the slow dance.

Not enough country or R&B ballads which were a mainstay at every high school dance I went to. We never played the fucking cure. Remember KC & Jojo “All my life, I prayed for someone like you”?

belly | 6/7/2007, 1:59 am EST

If - pink floyd

dj-chefron | 6/6/2007, 10:40 pm EST

How can you have a list without Al Hudson “Something in the past”Commodores “Lady” Peaches and Herb “Reunited” Blue Magic “Sideshow Minnie Ripperton”Loving you” and how in the world Marvin Gayes’s “Lets get it on” is not number one says a lot about peoples musical taste

Drew | 6/6/2007, 10:19 pm EST

Criminal to forget “Wonderful Tonight” by EC, as about a million people have already noted.

Fully agree with “Lady In Red” by Chris de Burgh. But is it about a prostitute? That’s romantic.

daniela | 6/6/2007, 7:15 pm EST

love hurts by nazareth and some song by bread should’ve been on there!!!! bread is the best band for soft rock slow songs. are u kidding me with “i don’t wanna miss a thing”. thats like the worst aerosmith song. blaahh! is this love by chris brown would’ve been good too. omg or “crusin together” by gwenyth paltrow and huey lewis.

Looky here. When in the hell was the last time you took a slow dance? Because I’m guessing it was 1982. Having recently (February 9, 2004) been to a dance where I was a witness to not one but multiple slow dances, I would have to say that this entire list is off. Based on my experience the top 25 list should go something like this:

1 - 7. A bunch of heartbreakin’ country tunes.
8. Wonderful Tonight
9-25. A bunch of drunk heartbreakin’ country tunes.

I know this from my 2004 experience. As I was breakin’ my way on the dance floor to some old fashioned Rob Base, the DJ rudely interrupted my groove with
a tune about being drunk and crying but yet still being a man. Upset and trying to preserve the groove, I approached the DJ and politely told him that “no body enjoys listening to this S***” He then directed I turn around wherein I discovered that the dancefloor was now filled to capacity with
loving embracing couples swaying rhytmically to a man sing about he wanted to get a gun and shoot some out of ‘love’.

I learned something that night. I learned that RBV is good for one drink but not fifteen, but that’s another lesson. I also learned that the slow dance is a dying art form only being preserved through the contemporary country.

Therefore, I would have to say that this list has no frame of reference. Whoever came up with this list probably last went to a slow dance when slow dancing was considered immoral and lascivious. Therefore, I would like to put forth to you that this list has no frame of reference. Any challengers to this view must take me on on the dance floor.

Ace | 6/6/2007, 12:53 pm EST

I am very disappointed that Eric Clapton’s “Wonderful Tonight” was left off the list.

Purple Rain… in high school we loved that song at the dances because it lasts forever! Great chance to hold a girl without having to let her go.

Oh, and “One More Try” by George Michael is a must…I can smell the middle school gym just thinking about it….

Heart Rocker | 6/5/2007, 4:26 pm EST

Carrie, Carrie, Carrie by Europe…least this song should have be in the top five…

verbalintercourse | 6/5/2007, 3:58 pm EST

I could give two shits about what the Edge says about One. A great slow dance song doesn’t have to be a love song. Plus, U2 should be lucky for the 90% of all the people who don’t know what the song is about. They are the same people who high five each other when they hear Crash at a wedding.
For me:

Love Will Tear Us Apart - Joy Division
Sour Times - Portishead

The immortal shame | 6/5/2007, 3:23 pm EST

This list smells like dirty ass.

Mr. Shankly | 6/5/2007, 2:54 pm EST

I think you guys put Pavement on the list for the hell of it…. good move….

dylan | 6/5/2007, 2:34 pm EST

one is not a love song. even the edge has said that when people say that was there song at there wedding that he just wants to smack them for it cause its not a love song. listen to the lyrics. ITS A BREAK UP SONG

It’s a shame I came in late for this one - I would’ve loved to see “Red Light Special” by TLC on the list. Dah well.

minney | 6/5/2007, 8:31 am EST

i hate aerosmith, steven tyler has a big mouth

egle | 6/5/2007, 6:55 am EST

in your eyes should’ve been in top5.
…and the GNR fan a few posts lower, gnr songs aren’t what i’d call.. for slow dancing. ESPECIALLY COMA?..

Keith Talent | 6/5/2007, 6:49 am EST

‘Pictures of You’ by The Cure and ‘Stay (Faraway,So Close!)’ by U2 definitely should be slow danced to alot more…even if they both are about past relationships.

Also,so should:
-’The Universal’ by Blur
-’Tender’ by Blur
-’She’ by Elvis Costello

david huret | 6/5/2007, 6:19 am EST

how about “my love”(Wings)and “the long and winding road”?I’ve danced on both with uh…someone, and it felt really good.

Betty Boop | 6/5/2007, 4:39 am EST

Sest kokoski sam zaklala - Stojan BG

Mike Cooper | 6/5/2007, 4:32 am EST

How can “Open Arms” by Journey not be #1?? Tell me of any woman who does’nt melt to it.And,tell me of any guy who did’nt do better after playin’ it.Plus, you’ll never get a better singing performance than Steve Perry’s.

Michael | 6/5/2007, 3:49 am EST

Better watch your pacemakers their, people. Talk about an entire list of bloody dreck except for Pavement.

david | 6/5/2007, 3:15 am EST

usually these lists are pretty good but this one is horrible the Aerosmith song is horrible and eternal flame is one of the worst songs ever. what about cry one more time or before the next teardrop falls. Honestly did you just listen to a soft rock station for two hours and wrote down the anwswers. Country should really be on this list and I hate country music. love songs are the one thing they are good at occasionally. the best Kristofferson slow songs would be a better list than this garbage.

erik | 6/5/2007, 2:22 am EST

love hurts should be on there somewhere

Kaiser P. | 6/5/2007, 2:15 am EST

Hmmm… Wish you were here is always nice to dance to…

Mike74 | 6/5/2007, 1:58 am EST

Smooth G | 6/5/2007, 1:49 am EST

yeaaaaaa stan | 6/4/2007, 11:52 pm EST

“dance commander” - Electric six

And yes… i mean SLOW dance

AJ | 6/4/2007, 11:38 pm EST

I’m sure some would enjoy a little slow dance to NIN’s “Closer” now and then…who doesn’t want to whisper “i want to fuck you like an animal” to a significant other?

P.S. Journey sucks!

kisekileia | 6/4/2007, 11:27 pm EST

“Save a Prayer” is too uptempo for slow dancing, though I love it to bits.

I agree with “I Will Always Love You” even though it’s technically a breakup song. And “I Swear” by All 4 One is probably the slow dance song that first comes to mind from my middle school days (1994-96).

RockGod | 6/4/2007, 11:05 pm EST

How about Coma, Estranged, November Rain, Patience, Madagascar, One In a Million, Civil War, Yesterdays, Knockin On Heaven’s door, these would all do, these should be on the list, from a “real man’s” perspective.

RockGod | 6/4/2007, 11:04 pm EST

Where’s Chicago’s “Color My World” or Bread’s “I Want to Make it with You”–oh forgot, I’m old.

cooksterkc | 6/4/2007, 10:32 pm EST

Ok, and how many years did it take us to get rid of Bryan Adams’ “Everything I Do (I Do It For You)”? You couldn’t escape that song for at least four years.

anonn | 6/4/2007, 10:31 pm EST

fffff…Aerosmith at #1…well-deserved for what was their loveliest song in years.

Tattooed Nipples......... | 6/4/2007, 9:55 pm EST

In Your Eyes should be #1………..forget that crappy movie Armageddon!

kcv | 6/4/2007, 9:33 pm EST

Still can’t believe that Nazareth’s Love Hurts didn’t make it. Boo hoo hoo……my heart is breaking. Maybe it’s because the song wasn’t penned by them?????

Where’s Chemical Warfare by Slayer??

Rosebud | 6/4/2007, 7:39 pm EST

Good list but where’s “Best of My Love” by the Eagles? We slow-danced in 1976, too.

birddogger | 6/4/2007, 7:30 pm EST

“Love Song” by the Cure?!? Great tune, but isn’t that a bit too uptempo to qualify as a slow dance?
