
- Green Day has shifted their focus from American idiocy to Darfurian genocide with the release of their version of John Lennon’s “Working Class Hero.” The song is the first single taken from the Instant Karma – Save Darfur compilation, which also has U2, The Flaming Lips, R.E.M. and many more covering Lennon’s solo tunes. Ninety percent of the single’s proceeds go toward the Save Darfur-Amnesty International Program.
