It seems our long, national nightmare of constant irony is over, and the newer generation doesn’t quite understand the concept. While abject earnestness is probably a good thing- and definitely a breath of fresh air- here’s a tip from one of us gen-Xers that live entirely in sarcasm, and can’t ever directly mean what they say: the Jack White headline was a joke.

…don’t you think if JW really was “exacting revenge” he would have CANCELLED the gigs in Chicago outright and not merely just reschedule them(and there are other cities involved anyway, not just Chicago!)–this most likely has nothing to do with the DJ leak flap, but you just had to make it look that way with your accusing headlines.
