I think that the finale was horrible. This season was not as good as past seasons. I have never had a fav to win. Except maybe Kelly Clarkson, but I really didn’t watch it then. Why is it that America is completly dumb until the albums come out? Why can’t they vote the right way before it gets that far? I liked Blake and I couldn’t stand Jordin. She seemed way to fake to me. Maybe if we stopped watching things would work out better.

comon, American Idol is the most ridiculous show on TV..The only winner who has really gotten popular is kelly clarkson and ok..fantasia was ok..but it just produces an artists who sings other peoples lyrics and they just soak in the stardum.. I was really disappointed when I found out Melinda was voted off– I didn’t understand it to be quite honest since then I have decided not to watch the show… it’s clearly a popularity contest rather then a true singing competition.

Let’s be honest: they are both capable singers but far from great and it’s pretty sad that out of the whole country, this is who we’ve whittled it down to. Neither one of them would be able to make a convincing album without a healthy dose of digital enhancement, and that’s the truth.

Now, why is it that no one is talking about how f—ed up Paula Abdul was last night?!?!? Am I the only one who noticed this, I feel like I’m taking crazy pills!
