They are awsome!!!How a 2 members band can sound like there are 4 or 5 musicians? It’s really fantstic. Meg is an excellent drummer and she isn’t less good that many men Keep on doing great musica, straight to the fan’s mind.

I was there, and it was really amazing. I never knew that he played Seven Nation Army on a 50’s Kay acoustic! It’s not even electric. I have a Kay, and they’re really hard to keep in tune, so the fact that he can play some junk like that and make it sound like that is a gift.

the white stripes are a critic hyped band with no talent who have nothing to say. those of you who rave about them have been duped by a critic enduced chimera…nothing new here just look what site you are on.

The Realist… is an idiot. The White Stripes are awesome, one of the best bands out there. They are hyped for a reason, they are a two piece band that sound like a great four piece.

Nice review, The Stripes continue to be one of the best live bands in the world currently. Icky Thump will be their biggest record yet I think. I’m incredibly happy to see real musicians and songwriters with real talent get their due for a change in place of the barrage of lip-synching pop tart “vocalists” and pretty boys that flood the current pop music landscape. All that slick over processed computerized noize and manufactured posturing is O-L-D. When will the music industry understand that a great deal of music lovers are smarter than that and refuse to be continually
spoonfed a diet of musical junk food? Bands like the Stripes are essential! Seen the Stripes 4 times in the past and am seeing them 3 times this summer. Cannot WAIT! Good to have you back Jack and Meg!

hey “Realist”, “Jon”, and “Kurt’s Corpse”, any of you like to tell us who IS a great band?? Please, oh please let us know.

I saw this show and it was beyond phenomenal. They had special t-shirts for attendance and the Cannery, which holds 850, was NOT packed. In fact, it was only half-full, perhaps cause the Stripes wanted it to be “intimate” like they promised. I’ve seen many shows in my 28 years, but this was by FAR the best, and yes, one for the record books.

I don’t think anybody recorded the show because everyone I saw with a camera (at least 8 or 9 people) were escorted out by security. Even those with video cell phones. My friend was texting on her Sidekick, and this guy told her to put it away or she’d have to leave.

I seen the live concert of The Racounteurs, and to say that Jack has no talent is just the reason why Rap is so popular. It takes talent to ware a chain and Rap about how cool and rich u are

the fact that so many people hate the white stripes confirms how incredible they are. the majority of people who hear them love them or hate them. very little indifference. one way or the other they invoke some kind of feelings from almost everyone, that means they’re doing their job. and when “realist” says we raving fans have been duped by critics, hey i’ve been a fan since the sftri days, you know before national critics started kissing their asses.

i have seen them live several times…each show was good…unlike modest mouse who I have seen probably 7 or 8 times and listened to since the beginning..played a 60 min show on 4/20…4/20 of all dates…what the fuck isaac….

I’ve been waiting to see the Stripes for about 5 years now and on June 26, I shall have my chance. Finally!

I was online trying to get tickets, they sold out in less than 1 minute. I don’t think many of the tickets were actually released for sale to the general public.
