Melinda Doolittle Kicked Off “American Idol,” Bo Diddley Hospitalized

5/17/07, 9:03 am EST

Melinda Doolittle

  • America’s next idol will be either Jordin Sparks or Blake Lewis, as Melinda Doolittle’s shy sweetness finally wore thin with Idol voters last night and she was booted out of the competition.
  • Bo Diddley, the 78-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, has been hospitalized after a stroke. He’s reportedly in guarded condition at a hospital in Omaha, Nebraska .
  • It seems to be official, our fears that Elijah Wood would indeed be cast as Iggy Pop in a forthcoming biopic about the singer have been realized. The former hobbit is going to play Iggy in a film about Iggy’s life called The Passenger, Variety reports.
  • The White Stripes have announced they’ll play their first show since December 2005 when they take the stage at the Cannery Ballroom in Nashville, TN this Friday.
  • Beyonce has been nominated for the most BET Awards of any artists this year. The pop star is up for six awards including best female R&B artist, best collaboration (with Jay-Z on both “Deja Vu” and “Upgrade U”), video of the year (for “Irreplaceable” and her duet with Shakira on “Beautiful Liar”) and the viewer’s choice award. Congrats, B.
  • Madonna is finally letting us listen to this new song she’s written for Live Earth. “Hey You,” which was produced by Pharrell Williams and Madonna is available for free for seven days.

ruben was nothing! he was fat, and nice, but he hasnt done anything for himself singing wise. he is a nobody!

Kinda late to be adding my opinion, but as a die-hard Melinda fan, I look at it this way: in January I didn’t know who Melinda Doolittle was. Now I do, and I am a fan forever. Randy, Paula, and Simon discovered Melinda Doolittle. That is what will make THEM remembered. I’m thankful for this flawed (DUH!) system of finding wonderfully talented people like Melinda, Ruben, Carrie, Lakisha (dont’t forget her!), and even Taylor (whose album is quite good).

I’ll watvh it next year for the diamonds AI discovers.

My husband and I were very discouraged that Melinda did not make the finals for American Idol. This is the first year that I have watched the show. I felt very sorry for Melinda. I wish she
could know how many of us loved her. The voting system is not fair. Why can’t the show fix the system? I am not sure I want to watch the show next year if the voting system is unfair. The judges should be able to vote after they get the top 12. The people who vote 500 times make the contest unfair for the people who only vote once. They should have voters register during auditions. It is a good idea to charge for voting and give the money to charity. I sure don’t understand why those people would vote for the worst and would be so hateful to the people who enjoy the show.

It bothers me when people dont express their fealings.I mean alot of people knew Malinda was the best but felt bad for Jordin and Blake,I mean I like Jordin and Blake, but Jordin and Blake are younger than Malinda.Malinda is older and she has a powerful rich voice,It was wrong for Malinda to go home.I liked her since the first day she came with her wonderful voice and performed for the addition to go to Hollywood. .Malinda no matter what happend your still my american idol. Good luck in writhing your cities, I will like to listen to your succes. YOU ROCK ME OUT.

Melissa | 5/23/2007, 5:45 pm EST

Melinda is a great singer and she shouldn’t give up for not winning American Idol. I’m hoping to hear about all her success. She’s capable of doing anything.Good luck to Melinda!

joleymoley04 | 5/19/2007, 8:22 pm EST

Melinda Doolittle is the best. I wish that she was in the finale..but it’s too late for that. Geez America never gets it right..my favorites, who are the best singers, never make it into the finale…it’s so annoying. I can’t stand watching Blake..everything about him annoys me..he’s almost equally bad to watch as Sanjaya (but no one is more worse than Sanjaya)

Anyways…Melinda is the best and everyone knows it. I would just love to hear her sing some more…I just wanted to hear her sing “the song” in the finale…but good luck to her and Melinda is still my American Idol for this season!

comdict | 5/19/2007, 2:46 pm EST

Well u can just buy a thousand worth of phone load and send sms voting for Blake a thousand times, not thinking whether one has the talent, but because he’s cool.

Who said vote buying happens only in politics? It does, with AI.

Melinda is the winner… Peace!

cwesleyg | 5/18/2007, 10:38 am EST

Poor Melinda… so sad. But she will have a great carreer as a lead singer.

Buggie… (Luddite)… you fear technology? What does that have to do with “Reality” TV. Try braggart, poser, or perhaps pretender…

NSEERA | 5/18/2007, 10:15 am EST

SHAME UPON AMERICA.
TOTALLY DISGUISTED WITH THE WAY THE BEST ARE REDUCED TO THIRD RATES due to the unscrupulous votings. LOOKS, COLOUR AND AGE determine the best in AMERICA. SHAME SHAME! After wednesday’s performances it was undoubtedly Melinda the show stopper because all the other 2’s acts sounded the same and substandard. Like last year the best was made third ma fave Elliot yammin tho must admit the boy outdid himself and to melinda you have great things ahead of you.VOTE SYSTEM SHOULD BE REVISED!!

kelly | 5/18/2007, 6:24 am EST

good luck to melinda for her future.

i was hoping it would be her and blake in the finals.

not a very good season for AI.

i hope blake wins,,but i’m afraid more people will vote for jordin,,making her the youngest idol ever.

well,,whoever wins,,i think blake has a great career ahead of him.

i hope AI seven will be better than this.

BTW,,a lot of people say they’ll “never” watch the show again when their favourite goes out.
but,,public memory is very short.
they’ll soon forgive and forget,,and will watch again next season.
just because your favourite goes doesn’t mean you have to trash the show.
all those melinda fans who won’t watch the finale,,don’t forget,,melinda will be there too.

all the best to blake.

CurtMayfield | 5/18/2007, 4:21 am EST

Melinda Doolittle didnt’ win because she is black and ugly…and rightfully so…same reason why Obama won’t win.

DoubleD | 5/18/2007, 3:18 am EST

If you truly care about American Idol and you are over 16 years of age you really need to re-evaluate your life. Seriously, there are hundreds of great artists suffering because people like you refuse to pay them any mind. Get it together.

chimpana | 5/18/2007, 2:07 am EST

so one of the last great living originators of american rock music is near death, and the top headline from the nations supposed best music magazine is about a game show contestant voted off of a show directed at 12 year old girls. nice…

Singapore Boy | 5/18/2007, 2:06 am EST

MELINDA IS THE GREATEST, well, at least for me. All the best to you Melinda, and keep singing!

Tanja | 5/18/2007, 1:42 am EST

I agree with Megan Jordan, Melinda IS the best singer and it is a shame that America cannot or will not accept that. There is no point in watching the finale, because we now know that Jordin Sparks will win. The American public likes to chose very young people to win and Melinda was older by being 29 years old.

Tanja | 5/18/2007, 1:41 am EST

sdidolfan | 5/18/2007, 1:15 am EST

Just like last year, America has spoken and put two semi talented performers into the final. Look who came out with the best album last year. Look how well Hics, Yamean and that ladies albums did last year. I can’t even remember her name. Way to go America!

Megan Jordan | 5/18/2007, 12:58 am EST

Melinda is what it’s all about! She is the only reason to watch American Idol. This season has really changed my attitude about American Idol - I don’t see the point of watching such stupidity. I know that most of the voters are young people which explains why Doolittle got voted off - this just goes to show what America is like. I am not going to watch the Finale - I think it’s a waste of time and American Idol is truly becoming a big fat JOKE. Any body with any amount of decency, maturity, and brains would have to agree that NO ONE (including previous seasons) holds a candle next to Doolittle.

iprolife | 5/17/2007, 11:16 pm EST

We were quite surprise of the result that Melinda Doolittle was booted out. She truly is a good singer.
What is the need of having Randy, Paula, and Simon, when all the viewers of AI does not even recognize their insights? What the heck, right??!!!
How can Americans say that she does not connect to them when in fact she made it to the top three finalists. How can they also say that she does not connect to a much younger generation? As we can all recall, Taylor Hicks, the last season’s AI did connect well with you Americans. He does not belong to the younger genre.
Anyways, we wish Melinda all the best. She is unique in her own way.

Sarah | 5/17/2007, 10:36 pm EST

I will admit that Melinda had amazing talent; she was one in a million. But the truth is her genre of music is not popular in today’s youth. And let’s face their the one’s that are actually buying the music. As said before American Idol is not only about singing, it’s about the total package and Melinda lacked it. Even though singers shouldn’t compromise their standards or their originality they need to appeal to the world of today, it’s part of the bussiness and i just can’t see Melinda doing that. Where would she fit in today’s music industry?

Ma Pola | 5/17/2007, 8:03 pm EST

Elijah Wood as Iggy Pop? Sounds good! He’s a fine actor and I know he loves the music. What’s to fear? Remember, he’s an ACTOR. He was PLAYING a hobbit. He actually isn’t one in real life. Get it? It might seem like something of a stretch, but give the guy some credit. Let him surprise you.

Afraid!! | 5/17/2007, 7:10 pm EST

America, do you realize that some of the people that voted for AI will be voting for the future President! How scary is that!!!! How can anyone with any sanity vote for Jordan over Melinda??? I don’t think we have very much to worry about for at least the next 3 or 4 elections! Be afraid, very afraid!!

Leddih | 5/17/2007, 6:49 pm EST

Melinda could sing for me forever!Did someone really say that you can hear Melinda’s voice anywhere? But you can’t hear singing like Blake’s or Jordin’s? Don’t make me laugh! Anyone who says this has no pitch AT ALL! Jordin has a great voice but she makes every song sound like the same one…fantastic but boring! Blake? Well…er

SAD | 5/17/2007, 6:10 pm EST

I will try very hard next year not to watch a show that so obviouly is supported by tone deaf teeney bopper “groupies”. Simon knew who the best singer that has ever been on American Iol and it no doubt was Melinda. Good luck Melinda, I know you will go much farther that your two lesser competitors!

auramac | 5/17/2007, 6:05 pm EST

The show lost all trace of credibility this season- first the Sanjaya nonsense and now this. Simon is right to be annoyed. As for me, I’m done with it.

sporty | 5/17/2007, 6:05 pm EST

I can’t believe that Melinda was voted off!! How stupid is the American public!! My daughters favorite is Blake and nobody in my family liked Jordan after she jerked the kleenex out of Lakisha’s hand when she was trying to wipe (fake) tears from her face. What a spoilled brat!! I don’t think she can even sing with “worbly” shakey voice. I will admit she does sing better than me but that is not saying much!!!!!

That guy. | 5/17/2007, 5:30 pm EST

This is sad, people are talking about Shrek I mean Melinda like she died. She sings like everyother chorus singer from the south, there was nothing unique their. All of the people who say to bad its all about the money, hell yeah everything is about the money dumb ass. Did you think that the show and record label were literally run on hopes and dreams, well I hate to be the one to break it to you they are not. I bet if I put on a whitney, tina, and melinda album you couldnt tell the difference and that why she didnt win, also she looks like shriek. Also the record company are not going to have to people who hit the same target market out for American Idol. She is like a fat fantasia, and she look like shriek.

gail o'donnell | 5/17/2007, 5:22 pm EST

I think it is awful that the most talented
singer is gone. It just proves that nobody
is listening to Simon Cowell who is the
only judge that has any insight. I think she
will go on to have a career. Elliot Yamin was
my favorite last year and he came in third
place and made me proud last night with
his singing ability and his gracious style. Between Jordin and Blake it can only be
Blake. She is so average and cannot told
a candle to Melinda. Good Luck Blake and
I will miss you Melinda.

Disappointed | 5/17/2007, 4:55 pm EST

The only reason I kept watching AI this season was because of Melinda Doolittle. There is no reason to watch the final. I’m done. If FOX and its patrons aren’t going to recognize real talent, why bother even having auditions.

father willymyerninskydoo | 5/17/2007, 4:28 pm EST

get a grip folks. All three finalists are very talented, and sure it is a popularity contest, come on does anyone out there really expect kids under 20 to vote for Melinda Doolittle. It was clear the last few weeks she wasn’t connecting with American Idol’s demographic. Sure she can sing, sure she has talent, sure she was faking her sincerity. Oh did I say that out loud, or just think it. She had people packaging her from the start. How to look, how to act. Yuck. Blake, and Jordin are closer to the audience. Think back to the footage when they went to their home towns. Melinda had a very small turn out compared to the others, and I think really you will see the same next year when their cd sales match these results. And one last thing Charlotte don’t get your pj’s in a bunch over this. I could care about this like I care whether or not your listening to my rant right now. Get out there catch some Scrubs reruns, and buy the DVD release of My Mother The Car, the complete series. Now thats a hot one!

Buggie Owens | 5/17/2007, 4:05 pm EST

Clearly this proves I must be a Luddite.

Nicole | 5/17/2007, 3:54 pm EST

While I agree that Melinda is the best singer of the three, this is “American Idol”, not “Best American Singer” and so people voting are looking at singers in terms of the whole package. Not only did Melinda not really have the personality to appeal to this audience, but she didn’t really even try. I don’t know how a 15 year old girl who is watching the show is going to vote for a woman who is a great Tina Turner/Whitney Houston sing-alike.

I wish her the best in her career, but I’m not really surprised that she was booted off.

Quioxte | 5/17/2007, 3:25 pm EST

I know Melinda will outshine for many years after Jordin and Blake are forgotten. However, Haley is the package I will miss looking at a real American Idol!

NJ | 5/17/2007, 3:25 pm EST

I think this year has proved that AI is coming to an end. Come on, a few years ago when Ruben won was that really about looks and whether or not he would fit the supestar/celebrity mold? NO it was about his voice. NOW it’s all a popularity contest - what is this high school? Maybe people over 30 shouldn’t be watching the show. This entire season was for the most part a rotten batch of apples . AND Melinda is a humble person - stop acting like it’s a bad thing. Her surprise everytime Simon or any of the judges gave her a compliment wasn’t an act. If you watched all your peers getting killed by Simon’s nasty comments - you would be surprised too if he only paid you compliments. Doesn’t matter if she knows she’s a good singer or not. That was geniune surprise each time. She’s obviously not cocky so I guess she wouldn’t fit in as a celebrity!

Boner | 5/17/2007, 3:06 pm EST

She does not qualify for the Bone.

Ginger | 5/17/2007, 2:47 pm EST

It still makes me sick to my stomach to know that Melinda Doolittle has been taken off the show. She really deserved the be the next American Idol. Her beautiful voice and songs remain with me and I will followup with her later songs. My best to Melinda and her followings.

Snooky | 5/17/2007, 2:36 pm EST

Texasgal- you are 100 percent correct…Blake weather anyone likes it or not will hopefully win. He is diversified and I could hear him on the radio right now. I am not saying Doolittle’s wasn’t good but she was too shell-shocked all the time to even understand where she was. I could hear her on Broadway. Jordan is another story, great voice but where do you out her? Mariahville? Pop songs? nahh Hmmm
GO BLAKE LOVE YA!

G-Anna | 5/17/2007, 2:31 pm EST

Let’s forget that Melinda Doolittle was the best vocalist that has ever graced the stafe of AI. IT IS ALL ABOUT THE ALMIGHTY $$$$$!!! Melinda is clearly in a league of her own and will have a super successful career. I think that in order for AI to re-establish itself as a talent competition, then the process for voting needs to be changed. It has simply become a game of popularity vs talent. In the end, it is the ones who really have the talent who loses. Otherwise how do you explain Sanjaya?

Terrence | 5/17/2007, 2:21 pm EST

Dolittle should have sang a megadeth song. Both chicks sound the same, at least Blake offers up something different. Jordin will probably make a Fantasia Barino Cd

Texasgal | 5/17/2007, 1:58 pm EST

TO everyone who keeps talking about Melinda’s talent…Let me help you out…She has a voice that is extremely common. You can hear that style any given Sunday morning in any church of color here in America. Don’t get me wrong, I love gospel music, but Melinda had nothing unique to offer. She had her age and looks against her too.
Jordan and Blake both have unique styles and stage presence. Jordan is precious, and the tone of her voice is the BEST of anyone in this year’s competition. Blake gets kuddos for the most original style. I would buy Jordin and Blake’s cd’s, but not Melindas…
Poor Melinda, she needs to post her cell number for the back up singer positions.

Yvonne | 5/17/2007, 1:18 pm EST

That’s it! I’ll never watch American Idol again. There’s no way that Mellinda should have been knocked off. Listen to your 3 professionals there. That’s why they’re there. Good luck to Mellinda. I know you’ll go farther than the last 2 anyways.

Alan Gee | 5/17/2007, 1:17 pm EST

America voted in George Bush, and voted off Melinda. Different generations. Same mentality.

Don Vito | 5/17/2007, 1:07 pm EST

Don Vito | 5/17/2007, 1:07 pm EST

u know AI isnt the only thing mentioned above….what about madonna??

Nikkidoo | 5/17/2007, 12:31 pm EST

I just think it’s funny how so many people expect American Idol voters to choose the most talented as opposed to the most popular. It’s AMERICAN Idol. Since when do we reward the most talented? We live in a society where we worship celebrities and they’re paid millions to do almost nothing, meanwhile teachers, police officers, military personnel, firefighters, etc. (the people that matter) get paid crap.

jungleland | 5/17/2007, 12:14 pm EST

This is AI’s dream come true, TWO Radio Disney friendly pop stars that are in no danger of writing their own songs or wanting musical “freedom”. Blake and Jordan will sell records, sell concert tickets, be celebraties, and be POP STARS, which is in AI’s best interest anyway.

I think Jordan has a great voice and personality. She is cute and bubbly and could become a superstar singer with the right help (which is what AI does best)

Blake can go the Robin Thicke / Justin / Maroon 5 route and have big radio hits for teens and soccer moms… or he can play Simon LeBon in the Duran Duran Story on VH1

bobarsha | 5/17/2007, 12:10 pm EST

Blueriver got it right. Melinda WAS the best. The best singer I have ever heard on that show. Week after week, she was hands down the best EVER. But she had a couple problems. #1 she didn’t exude enough confidence. She always acted “surprised” when she got compliments. Like “really? do you think it was good?” Like Come on!! It was friggen great! Things like that don’t sit well with people. And #2 she sang too many old sounding tunes. This show is watched by people of ALL ages but the bigger percentage of the audience that’s actually doing the voting are young and they have convictions about who’s hip. Melinda is going to be heard of again, but she really needs to accept the fact that she’s damn GOOD, and show people that she knows she is! Who wants to look up to a singer that is unsure of herself?

NJ | 5/17/2007, 11:47 am EST

Voting Melinda off was a joke! Obviously the voting is NOT based on singing so they should’ve just left Antonette in - atleast she was something to look at. But seriously, Melinda was the best singer overall. I was shocked it wasn’t Blake that got the boot. But Melinda won’t be forgotten because she does have talent. I still can’t get passed Blake beebopping to Bon Jovi’s , You Give Love a Bad Name !! what the hell was that all about?

moonie | 5/17/2007, 11:45 am EST

Blake is a bore….

cwesleyg | 5/17/2007, 11:21 am EST

Melinda was the best the season had to offer. The two remnants are okay, but leave me not that thrilled to watch the finale… Buggie… nice superior attitude… you probably drive a foreign car and like wine and cheese parties…

Catfish Hunter | 5/17/2007, 11:19 am EST

I love American Kerioke!

Admit it! Please, some American Idol fan just admit that it is just kerioke in front of millions of viewers! If an American Idol fan admitted that, I’d have much more respect for them.

Pamela | 5/17/2007, 11:10 am EST

This is almost a repeat of last season when Chris Daughtry was voted off. They’re going to give her a record deal with more freedom in it than the actual Idol winner is going to have. She’ll get the last laugh of course when her album does better than the Idol winner. Just like Daughtry’s did over Taylors.

Mario Kart | 5/17/2007, 10:55 am EST

She should shave her head now & get fame over with…

blueriver | 5/17/2007, 10:54 am EST

Blake is what AI need to add to the past shows ( something
contempo) is what the young
generation wants to hear. Doolittle was good but her songs was too far back for the
younger generation. Blake’s music will more likely to sell. He is the next American Idol.

foreigner in tokyo | 5/17/2007, 10:47 am EST

Melinda is going to be a legend in American Idol. Hats off to you, Melinda. There must be a mistake that she had to leave American Idol this week.

Buggie Owens | 5/17/2007, 10:47 am EST

I am very proud to admit that I have never watched one episode of American Idol (or Survivor or Road Rules or Dancing with the Stars or that horrible Flavor Flav show)

LoLo | 5/17/2007, 10:45 am EST

The teenyboppers rule, I guess :( The only reason I watched the show was because of Melinda. The show lost its credibility last night when she was voted off. Nothing against the remaining two contestents but they are not even in Melinda’s league. This is reminiscent of Tamyra Gray’s send off. I definitely won’t watch the finale and probably won’t watch another season. I hope record producers are smarter than America and sign Melinda right away. I can’t wait for her first album!

Trish | 5/17/2007, 10:44 am EST

I am so upset about Melinda being voted off the show and someone needs to look into it. I tried calling in and I couldn’t get through on none of the numbers that was giving to her, this will be my last time watching American Idol. I am not going to take anything from Jordin or Blake but Melinda has stayed consistent throughout the entire season and she should have never been voted off. See Ya American Idol

Sanchez | 5/17/2007, 10:44 am EST

Man, I can’t believe it!
RS is a American Idol Blog.
Sad.

foreigner in tokyo | 5/17/2007, 10:42 am EST

Melinda is far the greatest contestant in this competition (2007). She should be in the finals! American Idol is about 4 weeks behind in Japan but I always check the internet for results. I was sad when I saw Melinda voted off =( If only I could turn back time… I’m pretty sure her album will become a hit…soon!

anonymous | 5/17/2007, 10:40 am EST

Woah lets back up here. Its not about linda doolittle or the show or who wins or not. its about the money and how many heads watch the show. The show is bought and paid for by advertizeing dollars.Who wins or votes is unimportant. The singers are merely being used a pawns,The big winners are the advertizers and fox.So speed dial all the votes you want. And simon can scowl all he wants it doesn’t mean a thing. In the end the only real winners are fox and the advertizers.

Joan | 5/17/2007, 10:39 am EST

Sometimes those who don’t win, fare best. Look at Clay Aiken, Elliott Yamin, Kellie Pickler…they’re having great careers. And so will Melinda. How could she not? Love her.

cindy | 5/17/2007, 10:30 am EST

I can’t believe america voted Melinda off. Out of the 3, she was the best singer,no let me change that, out of all the contestants she was one of the best singers. Blake should have been went home, it’s no comparing him to Melinda and Jordin, they are in a different league. This is my last and final year watching this show. I have a serious attitude right now.

abandonedstation | 5/17/2007, 10:29 am EST

okay, it goes ‘who wants to be a millionaire’, ’survivor’, and now ‘AI’. I wonder what America’s next lowest-common-denominator pop culture monstrosity will be. The Running Man, perhaps?

I’m trying to picture Elijah Wood dressed like a nazi smearing peanut butter on himself, but it’s not working. Oh, hey look! He’s going to be playing Iggy Pop, too!

Jack and Meg White will carry us all to musical salvation. If you are afraid you can’t escape the nefarious clutches of American Idol, behold your antidote.

Of course Beyonce gets the most BET nominations. She has to. She’s like Clive Davis, but with killer legs and a booty to match.

no booty here, sorry: www.abandonedstation.com

The show turned into a big joke the minute Sonjaya was ‘voted’ off. He was the only one who could sing with any passion and joy.

Idol has never been about the best singer, it’s been about the most popular. And it’s obvious that Blake and Jordin are more popular despite being inferior singers.

America, you voted, and I didn’t watch because it’s a joke of a show.

who cares about american idol when there is white stripes news?

Something is definitely wrong with the voting process on American Idol when someone as talented as Melinda Doolittle is giving her walking papers. Allowing people to vote for their favorite as many times as they want makes it possible for wanna-bes like Sanjaya to remain in the hunt while more gifted contestants are sent home early.

M Doolittle’s departure has prompted our family to remove the show from our favorite’s list…not that this matters to anyone…Melinda will reap more benefitsthan the remaining two-Blake–who is talented yes, but not in the same league as Melinda and Jordan, who has a great voice but lacks the consistency of preformance that Doolittle showed…what a joke. See ya American Idol! I would sooner have a root canal done than watch this farce any longer!

The results of last nights voting (if you can believe that) was a total travesty.
I’m done, its gotten to be a bad joke.

I just cant believe tat American voters can go soooooo wrong. Melinda is obviously the best singer of the three. What else do they want ? They’re simply turning this show from a singing competition to a popularity contest. I’m sorry to say this but some times we girls tend to lose our minds over men ( mind you i don’t think there’s anything hot about Blake) but i know the bulk of his votes came from ” lonely ladies”. Anyway, i know Melinda’s the best and shes gonna be real big just like Jennifer Hudson.

You could see how pissed Simon Cowell was last night, that America just made a total mockery of his program this season. At least he was polite to those who still remain but he wasn’t happy. That Sanjaya nonsense was an indicator of the end for that program as somewhat meaningful.

Melinda will be bigger then Ruben Studdard… if she keeps going….to McDonalds
