I think that this show has turned into a popularity contest instead of a singing contest. I liked Blake but his beat box did get old. Jordan is also great and she will have a great career. But I think Melinda is hands down the best singer and performer of the three. I will not be returning next year because it isn’t about singing anymore. I saw too many people go home this year that should have stayed and too many stayed because they were more popular (Antonella, Sanjaya)instead of good singers.

I am very surprised that Melida gone but she will make it.

Melinda is a great singer, but her look and style is dated. I can’t imagine anyone under the age of 30 connecting with her 70’s diva style of singing. She will have a good career in the adult contemporary genre. Jordan has the most potenial, so I think she should win it all.

I kept watching because Melinda kept getting better and more doverse in her arrangements.
Jordin and Blake ( boring beat boxer) got in from uncontrolled multiple voting..Melinda lost because she is older, mildly attractive, is a TRUE MUSICIAN so chose GOOD (older) songs.. so lets see who’s syill making a living from music in a few years.. It won’t be Blake OR Jordin…who got in on LOOKS alone..not talent!!!
