- Snoop Dogg is bored with hip hop and would like to change things up by producing hits for, say, Celine Dion. “I got beats for…everybody, man,” the rapper said. “I got beats for Celine Dion, and Sade. I’ve got music for everybody, not just rap. Rap shit is easy - whoever I call, I can get, just because I’m Snoop Dogg. That’s too easy. I want to reach out with some creative artists that’s gonna be here 20 years from now.” And you’re going with Celine Dion and Sade? Interesting.

- Kanye West is hoping to release Graduation, his third album, in September. Among other exciting features, the album will feature West collaborating with Coldplay’s Chris Martin on the songs “Graduation” and “Can’t Tell Me Nothing.”
- DJ Jazzy Jeff’s new album The Return of the Magnificent features a stellar guest list. The list includes: Method Man, De La Soul’s Posdnuos and Big Daddy Kane, among others. The album comes out in the States on May 29th.
- Bonnaroo is adding a Blue Note-sponsored jazz tent to its repertoire. The air-conditioned tent will be called “Somthin’ Else” and will feature performances by Stefon Harris, Ravi Coltrane, Robert Glasper, and Jacky Terrasson among others.
