Watch Feist’s New Video, Ponder Courtney Love’s Weight Loss and More

  • Feist’s new record The Reminder, is played at least once a day on multiple stereos in this office these days. So we had high hopes for the video for the uplifting sing along “1234.” We are so not disappointed.
  • Shocker: Courtney Love is denying that she lost 44 pounds the easy way, via gastric bypass surgery, and is sticking to her story that the weight came off via old fashioned hard work. She’s also teasing us again with her assurances that she knows who’s going to play her and Kurt in the film adaptation of their story. “Very high-end and very A-list,” she wrote.
  • Least rock and roll injury ever: GNR bassist Tommy Stinson fell down a flight of stairs and “severely sprained” his hand. As a result the band’s mid-April Japanese tour has been postponed.
  • The Flaming Lips will release their first live DVD this summer. U.F.O.’s at the Zoo — The Legendary Concert In Oklahoma City – comes out July 10th and features footage from the band’s September, 2006 performance at the Oklahoma City Zoo Amphitheater.
  • Lady Sovereign is tired again. She’s cancelled the last four dates of her current UK tour due to exhaustion.
  • Eagles’ guitarist Joe Walsh is, curiously, going on tour with Kenny Chesney this summer. “Nobody’s lived the life quite like him, and absolutely nobody plays guitar like he does,” Chesney said in a statement. “I think it’s gonna take it up a bunch getting him out here with us.”

It`s amusing watching Courtney Love,the “Punk rocker”, always trying to live up to the shallow, unrealistic standards of Hollywood through dieting and never ending plastic surgery. She still hasn`t recieved any movie offers.As for the Kurt & Corny movie, it`s all just talk on CLove`s part, trying to drum up interest.

I would think this would be a top CNN headline story as it is a rather historical occasion - “GN’R Postpones Tour, Gives A Week’s Notice, NOT AXL’S FAULT!”

Lady Sovereign is exhausted, huh? All these rockers are too fucking high to get a good night’s sleep. Sad.
