- Yesterday we learned that Snoop Dogg was the latest artist experiencing visa problems, as UK officials refused to let the rapper into their country. Initially tourmate Diddy was going to continue on without him, but as of today the entire UK leg of the pair’s tour (five dates) is cancelled. The rappers are still allowed in the rest of Europe and will resume the tour in Dublin on March 31st.
- And now for a roundup of summer tour/festival details: Marilyn Manson and Slayer will apparently co-headline a North American summer tour beginning July 25th. Rush will be playing a slew of North American dates beginning June 13th and taking them into September. This year’s Family Values tour will feature co-headliners Korn and Evanescence. Rock the Bells Festival will feature performances by a ridiculous number of awesome artists including Nas, Public Enemy, Mos Def plus previously confirmed headliners Rage Against The Machine and the Wu-Tang Clan.
- Paul McCartney’s new record will apparently feature brand new material plus outtakes from the rocker’s last few albums. There’s also this charming rumor going around that the album will come out on June 18th, McCartney’s 65th birthday.
- Scott Weiland’s wife has apparently been arrested for burning $10,000 worth of the rocker’s clothes. She did him a favor.
