Big Sister is watching you!

baconballs | 3/19/2007, 5:29 pm EST

Wait where is all the tripe trashing your new hero as just another run of the mill political hack that will say and do anything to get elected. Uncle Tom whore or not. Unless this lust you people have for Osama Obama (that is Kennedy-lingo for you sycophantic kneejerks..) will override the irrational lust you have for Mrs. Clinton… you liberals are going to be a hoot to watch this season…

holly | 3/19/2007, 5:55 pm EST

This is just weird…Obviously a professional political team would not create this if people ACTUALLY believe Obama had anything to do with this. It’s obviously a parody and a farce, I mean, what’s with the Hooter’s girl and the sledge hammer? Chill out everyone–neither Hillary nor Obama could possibly be affected by a 10th grade media project. Hopefully we will ignore such things in the future.

The story headline is “open source campaign,” and “I’m Barack Obama and I DID NOT approve this ad”…hence, user-created. Not Obama created.

So there goes that, baconballs…and if the best you have is a play on his name, that’s pretty sad given what a miserable president your “compassionate conservative” has made. Cheney will go down in history as the worst president ever and Bush will go down as the worst puppet since that talking rabbit with bobcat goldwaith’s voice.

As for what the deal is with the hooters girl and the hammer, well, I’m guessing holly is too young to remember the apple ad from 1984 announcing the mac to the world. It has been lauded as one of the best commercial advertisements of all time. It can be seen here:

“It’s obviously a parody and a farce, I mean, what’s with the Hooter’s girl and the sledge hammer? Chill out”

Maybe you’re too young, but then again I’m 21 so that’s gotta make you about 7. They spliced Hillary Clinton into the famous Apple commercial that aired during the Super Bowl in 1984. It’s kind of what put Apple on the map. So yes, it is a parody, but not the kind you think.

Hillary is evil. She must not be elected. She’ll tax the hell out of you. There are those who are evil because of their decisions to go to war. Then there are those who are evil because they will take your money from your pockets, therefore, they will take food out of the mouths of your children. They will take the shelter away from your family. They will strip the clothes off your back. Careful liberals. Careful conservatives. Pick your poison wisely.

Doug | 3/19/2007, 8:23 pm EST

Blinked, Perhaps she will tax the hell out of you by waging an ill advised war and providing no accountability and oversight as to how money is being spent in fighting said war. In addition to this, perhaps she will drive up the US deficit, create programs that are essentially entitlements for big pharma, develop energy programs that ignore the inevitable decline in renewable energy sources, and do nothing about global warming which will have economic consequences in the future we can hardly fathom today.

Oh wait, our current administration has already done all this. Tell me the difference between this form of taxation and what you propose Hillary will do?

No matter who is in office over the next couple decades, he or she will have no choice but to raise taxes to meet the commitments that are being made today.

blinked | 3/19/2007, 8:47 pm EST

Doug…What you say is very true. Much of the activities that Bush & friends have committed the country to will drive the next President to enforce tax raises. But to what degree is the true question. I have no doubt that sadly the worst is yet to come. I simply do not like Hillary because like Bush, she’ll go to the extremes. Now you and or anyone may ask who is a better alternate, and my answer is just as sad: I don’t know. We are living in a dark age of politics. You would think that after the Revolutionary War, the abolishment of slavery, after two World Wars, after the Great Depression, the Civil Rights Movement, the Cold War, that things would finally be better. They’re not. We are all in serious trouble.

I do not approve of the message, nor this type of “negative campagning”- wonder who did it?…. but I must admit it is pretty hip- one of the greatest, most effective ads of all time, stick Hilary in to replace IBM as Big Brother (Sister?), using Apple’s old rainbow logo to spell out Obama’s name… Wish it was used against Bush & co. instead.

George W Bush | 3/19/2007, 11:55 pm EST

Hey, how did she get on my TV screen?

anonymous 2 | 3/20/2007, 10:52 am EST

Britain | 3/20/2007, 11:03 am EST

(with english accent)Pardon me old chaps but I rather think that there should be some diversity but agree that the clip is simply outra

Britain | 3/20/2007, 11:08 am EST

geous and should not be tolerated under any circustances, furthermore i advise thee to take politics more seriously because for some weird reason you happen to be a sort of leader to the world which i think is rudely abominable and now i bid you good day. Cheerio!
