Hall of Fame Rings in a New Class, Pam and Tommy Lee Reuniting? And More

3/13/07, 8:27 am EST

Hall of Fame, Patti Smith, Michael Stipe, Keith Richards

  • Congratulations to last night’s inductees into the Cooperstown of Rock n’ Roll: Patti Smith, R.E.M., The Ronettes, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, and the two guys from Van Halen who showed up, despite getting booted from the band. It was a great night of rock ‘n roll, cool collaborations, and incredibly long speeches.
  • The sons of Lennon, Sean and Julian, are spending some serious brother-time together. If only getting David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar in the same room was this simple.
  • Lily Allen says she doesn’t care if she’s famous. Maybe it’s because she has a rich dad to fall back on…
  • Are Pam Anderson and Tommy Lee reuniting? It’s never too soon to pre-order your sex tape sequel.
  • In an effort to ring up “support for blood drives,” Fall Out Boy are bludgeoning themselves, mixing it with paint and giving you posters of it. Don’t cut too deep.
  • The newest addition to Willie Nelson’s record label: Willie Nelson’s sons. Kinda has that picked-last-for-kickball feel to it.
  • The Gym Class Heroes drummer was arrested in Mexico. Evidently Snoop Dogg wasn’t available for arrest, having been arraigned in Sweden.
  • FYI: Just because you’re getting a new Guns n’ Roses song, it does not mean you are getting a new Guns n’ Roses album.

This Hall of Fame show was apalling. I am stunned by how bad it was.

ken vail jr | 3/13/2007, 8:56 am EST

you’re fuckin nuts-it was a blast. the only thing that sucked was those egomaniacs van halen not showing up-i bet they were afraid to see sammy and michael.

Sanchez | 3/13/2007, 8:58 am EST

Patti Smiths song to her Mother was a highlight of the night…Whats the deal with Haggar and Anthony doing a tavern-esque side show with Paul Shaffer, I mean I understand Velvet Revolver had to be shut down they were awful. And VH, c’mon..I understand EVH is in Rehab but where was Alex? Where was a recorded acknowledgement of the award. Sad really…Weiland didn’t add anything to thier induction either, way to look like you want to be there Scott.
Al Sharpton was great too.

Killa | 3/13/2007, 9:12 am EST

VR really tore up ‘Ain’t talkin bout love’! Slash’s solo was wicked and Weiland’s interpretation was fitting.

Aretha Franklin also brought the house down. Although, I would have preferred to hear some Monster or Up-era REM.

rosie | 3/13/2007, 9:24 am EST

audience looked so bored, wish the VH guys were there, just wasn’t the same

jwf2007 | 3/13/2007, 9:25 am EST

As a Van Halen fan I was disappointed we didn’t get to see them there. At least Sammy Hagar & Michael Anthony saved the niht from complete disaster.I hope I NEVER hear Velvet Revolver try to do Van Halen again.

eddie | 3/13/2007, 9:56 am EST

This show was an unmitigated disaster, pure and simple. Watching the stellar flashback performance videos from prior years only rubbed it in.

Hat’s off to Michael and Sammy for having the class and the balls to show up and represent VH, but their performance was dreadful. And Velvet Revolver – Good God, I can go to any high school battle of the bands and hear a better VH cover than that trainwreck they played. It sounded like the crowd was heckling them as they left the stage.

Grandmaster Flash gave some moving speeches and their performance was decent, but watching them perform in front of a bunch of white recording industry suits was painful to watch.

REM’s performance proved that Peter Buck is as much of a drunken, untalented dick as ever. Simple rule: You should not be admitted to the hall if you can’t tune your guitar or don’t have the good sense to use your millions to hire a qualified roadie do it for you. It’s a shame because the rest of the band was pretty on, but that couldn’t make up for the fact that Buck played like a 12-year old at pawn shop.

Some producer is going to lose his job over this fiasco. Words simply can’t describe it.

E! | 3/13/2007, 10:05 am EST

Velvet Revovler not only phoned it in, but it looked to us like they completely bailed on “Runaround” …there was even a person audibly yelling “that wasn’t Van Halen!!!”. It looked to us that Paul Schaffer and company grabbed Sammy & Mike and said “hey, let’s save this thing”, which they did…big time. Sam & Mike continue to prove that the fans matter! Very classy! AS Sam said, it’s time for everyone to grow up. It’s also a damn shame that Van Halen, a band that significantly influenced Rock ‘n Roll, virtually reinvented the electric guitar, sold an incredible amount of music and played to millions of people can’t get a Bono, Vedder, Springsteen – type induction by an eloquent human-being!

curefreak | 3/13/2007, 10:07 am EST

Yeah both van halen tributes sucked majorly
but i thought the ronettes sounded great of course they had like 7 back up singers !

BigSmooth | 3/13/2007, 10:22 am EST

I think I may be the only one here that enjoyed most of this show.I thought VR did a good job witht he song, Weiland just sounds different from roth and haggar. The Highlight of the vening for me was Eddie vedders great speech where he made sure he mentioned REM’s fallen friend Kurt Cobain. I also loved when Eddie Vedder and REM sang “Man on the Moon” together i thought it was glorious. Al Sharpton also did a great job with his speech about James Brown and i love the message of Grabdmaster Flash ans the furious five, condeming this rap music nowadays. All and All i really enjoyed the program.

Jason | 3/13/2007, 10:25 am EST

Velvet revolver… well they should use the revolver on half their band, they where hideous. As for VH Eddie has been high for at-least 30 years he could have postponed re-hab for a day or two. As for his kiss-ass bro well you all knew he would be a no show. Michael and Sammy are class a class act. They can at-least hold off on getting totally smashed until after the gig is over. Even if Eddie comes out the other side better I won’t give him one dime of my money!!! As for the HOF show it-self the best part was the flash-backs, especially Prince ripping the guitar up with Tom Petty and crew. At least REM represented!!! All in all quite pathetic…

48_nelaH_naV | 3/13/2007, 10:39 am EST

I think it’s a shame that the only 2 guys to accept the award last night are the only 2 who aren’t in the band anymore. Alex could have shown up but nooooo he’s still mad at Sammy & Micheal, and only because his brother is. Swallow your dang pride it’s the RRHOF for christ sake!
Plus, they barely touched on Dave’s work with the group.
95% of the video highlights they showed were with Sammy. I was happy to see Velvet Revoler do a song from the early years, even though they murdered “Ain’t Talkin”Bout Love”. I mean could you honestly see Velvet Revoler do a song from the ballad years? I don’t think so! So Sammy and Micheal decided that since VR did a song from the DLR years, that they had to hold their own by doing a terrible version of one from the Sammy years and did Sammy and Micheal suck last night or was that just me? Another thing is; how is it that Sammy & Micheal got to do a song but they {the Production Mgrs.} wouldn’t let Dave do one when he requested.
You know I really don’t care if they get back together or not and replacing Micheal with Wolfgang doesn’t bother me because I was sure getting tired of see that same ol’ bass solo year after year. What I would really like is for them to release some live concerts on DVD. I’m talkin’ the early years like ‘78 to ‘84. Kind of like KISS did. Overall the entire show sucked, it was not timed very well and it looked like nobody knew what was going on next. Oh yeah, I loved that heckling, of VR, from the crowd!!!!

fixtheglitch | 3/13/2007, 10:48 am EST

Why is everyone coming down so hard on Velvet Revolver? That whole fiasco is Van Halens fault for not being able to get their shit together. They got what they deserved.

Tom | 3/13/2007, 10:49 am EST

It was so painful to see the Van Halen portion of the Hall of Fame induction ceremony. It was a trainwreck. WHY WAS VELVET REVOLVER THERE!!!! They didn’t care at all about honoring VH. The Hall of Fame couldn’t find anyone who was passionate about VH to do the intro? GIVE ME A BREAK. Revolver was horrible (and I actually like that band!). Dave said in an interview that the Hall of Fame was more concerned that Velvet Revolver was comfortable than the band being inducted and from the looks of that performance Dave was telling the truth. The Hall of Fame really screwed up the VH induction big time. VH deserved so much better!!!

Defender of the Faith | 3/13/2007, 10:53 am EST

I was very excited when I firstheard that it would be shwon live on VH-1 Classic for the first time. Who new it would be the longest show on earth with more breaks, false starts and unnessary clips of prior HOF shows. I think I will wait for the edited condensed version next time.

dennis | 3/13/2007, 11:11 am EST

I thought the show was very good. Did anyone expect it to be slickly smooth? If you did then you don’t understand the very nature of rock and roll. As Roger Daltrey once said, give me a bum note and bead of sweat anyday.

Instead of picking out every flaw in a historic and emotion filled broadcast( to which we should all be grateful for). Try sitting back and enjoying the magic of Rock and Roll for one time in your lives.

Dave | 3/13/2007, 11:23 am EST

Everybody watching was there to see what VH-related surprise there would be. The surprise was that Velvet Revolver thoroughly embarassed themselves, going from bad (Ain’t Talkin ’bout to Love) to a barely discernable (Runaround, not the best Hagar tune, but at least decent when done right!). All in all, Roth was right to not show for this disaster, but as Hagar said, the true fans deserve a true reunion and Eddie, Alex, etc. all know what that means. THE ORIGINAL LINEUP.

dino | 3/13/2007, 11:24 am EST

ok-on the matter of van halen:
first & foremost yes, thank goodness for paul schaefer & his band to help out mike & sammy…velvet revolver was not the answer to induct van halen in regards to induction speech and performance….and yes, both mike & sammy were classy enough to show up….but let’s face it…they were scrambling with not knowing what to do….who knows the craziness of what went on behind the scene….I am sure mike & sammy had a few interesting cell phone calls on their way to ny..
david, edward & alex should also be upset that they missed a very special evening and many fans could only be left what the f#@! is wrong with all three of you?? why even keith richards can make it to the show…..and that says a lot

Rod | 3/13/2007, 11:25 am EST

No one expects perfection at events like this – but most of the acts sounded like they hadn’t played in front of an audience in years. Truly bad, not even mediocre.

When you are getting Rock and Roll’s highest honor, you owe it to your fans to deliver a performance that proves that you belong there.

lik roper | 3/13/2007, 11:45 am EST

pamela anderson is a big hose monster…

JRAmato | 3/13/2007, 11:51 am EST

Seeing the pure joy in Patti Smith’s face as she talked about her mother during the dedication and the smile on her face as she walked off the stage and thanked the crowd again really proved how big this event is.
Face it Eddie, Alex and Dave blew it and will have to regret it for the rest of what is left of their career.
Their behaviour over the past 3 weeks in regards to this event was apalling and the equivalent of pissing on your fans…
Thanks to Sammy and Mike for showing some class.

Blackwood | 3/13/2007, 11:52 am EST

painting with blood?

I did that once, with a nose bleed (everytime I have a nose bleed it’s more like a shower than a plain licking) and other time again with an used tampon

it’s really fun, people should do that more often when they’re bored

:)

Mike | 3/13/2007, 12:01 pm EST

My wife who isn’t even a Van Halen fan was disappointed to not see the band at the induction ceremony.

After that horrible introduction by a totally ill-equipped and, thoroughly disinterested Velvet Revolver we were subjected to a crude and, disgusting rendition of a Van Halen classic.

First, I didn’t even know it was Scott Weiland singing. I thought it was someone with a worse case of ADD/Hyperactivity than I have on top of no singing skills. Then VR followed it up with a song which I didn’t recognize. After having listened to every VH album/cd far more times than any sane person should any group I thought I heard VR say runaround during the second song but wasn’t sure. It was so bad I almost shot my tv with a revolver. If I’d only had one!

What a disgrace for such a great and influential group. Sammy’s class proved why I went back to see VH on their last tour and why I won’t go see them again now that EVH has also kicked MA out, too.

Scott Baio's neighbor | 3/13/2007, 12:17 pm EST

Velvet Revolver was worse than Patty Smith, if that’s possible. You could tell the Sammy and Mike thing was thrown together at the last second to safe face. VR’s version of “Runaround” was an embarrasment. It would have been less awkward had Eddie showed up drunk off his ass and smashed a guitar over Paul Shafer’s bald head.

BB | 3/13/2007, 12:34 pm EST

Roth was supposed to sing WITH Velvet Revolver, but he no showed because he could only choose one of the songs played. The whole lot needs to grow up! Prima Donna cry babies.

Cecy | 3/13/2007, 12:41 pm EST

Thought that the Ronette main vocalist was extremely obnoxious, dissapointed in the poor commitment to their fans that the members of the MIA VH displayed on such a great moment for them, LOVED Patti Smith, what an amazing woman and I can’t get over how fantastic REM portion was, with Eddie as inductor, the performance, Stipe’s awesome look and compelling speeches. Agree on watching an edited version of the show next time.

Maddog | 3/13/2007, 12:44 pm EST

I grew up with Van Halen, I had so many arguments that they were the best band going. How can you self implode and lose it like these guys, I know they have personal lives that really none of us can understand, but come on! I actually agree with David Lee Roth, that was his time not Velvet Revolvers. Sammy and Michael are just as much a part of the band as Alex and Eddie, just because their name is not Van Halen doesn’t mean they did not contribute to their band! Eddie needs to realize(as much as I love the guy)he wasn’t the only one writing the music, Sammy and David had just as much of a part by writing the lyrics! They had a chance to ROCK the world they didn’t do it, Sammy and Mike have shown themselves to be nothing but class and the RHOF should have showed David more respect, hopefully Eddie will be alright and we will one day, some how see a reunion, it’s too much talent to waste!

Sherry | 3/13/2007, 12:45 pm EST

The entire Hall of Fame thing is so inconsequential anymore. I though about 1988 when The Beatles were inducted! The Beatles! Now we’re inducting Grand Master Flash? I don’t get it!! There has to be better acts than that to induct. ELO, Hall and Oates, Rush, Styx, etc.
The year Kelly Clarkson get inducted, I’m going to have to kill myself.

Sherry | 3/13/2007, 12:47 pm EST

PS – David Lee Roth should have shown up and added some life to the night. Where were you David?

Neds Fresh Sister | 3/13/2007, 12:49 pm EST

Did ther Fabulous Five all have the Sales tags left on thier coats so they could take ‘em back after the show?

Lobsters | 3/13/2007, 1:27 pm EST

I was entirely too cool to watch that Hall Of Fame foolishness. It’s all shit and anyone lame enough to be involved is an asshole. Patty Smith? R.E.M.? Eddie Vedder? Did they lecture everybody about Global Warming and Karl Rove? Fuck this.

jaimelyn | 3/13/2007, 1:40 pm EST

It’s all been said here, but I’d also like to throw in my two cents how horrific velvet revolver performed. What a nightmare. They treated it like inducting someone into a hall of fame is a joke, reading off cheasy note cards, having nothing of substance to say about VH?! It was a travesty. I was happy Hagar and Anthony were there, Mike was always my fave. Love me some Eddie Vedder- REM was fab, Patti Smith was genuinely happy and it was a pleasure to listen to her speak so graciously about her family and friends.

jungleland | 3/13/2007, 1:59 pm EST

Could this be magic,
or could this be love?
Could this turn tragic?
You know that magic often does.

10 years ago I got chills watching the original Van Halen strut out to the podium at the VMAs

I was hoping for this to be their big magical night

Instead, Velvet Revolver looked bored and sounded like crap (and I like them) Sammy and Mike sounded like they were playing with a pick-up band (ok the worlds most dangerous pick-up band) or playing a Monday night to tourists at Cabo.

There was no magic, no sex, no reckless abandon, no BALLS to this.

but…..

If DAVE had been able to be the RINGMASTER like the good lord intended, this would have been a party: lampshades on every head, shirt tails untucked, a flask in every pocket, a midget stripper or two, just for good measure…

damn!

D.J.Brian Flash | 3/13/2007, 4:05 pm EST

What a fucking night! Velvet Revolver as a backing band.(they sounded more like circle jerk).Where in the hell was Alex Van Halen?

dan | 3/13/2007, 5:08 pm EST

i think what velvet revolver did was a total joke. it was stupid, and they ruined run around. I deffinantly have lost my respect for that band.

glad to see that sam and mike got up there for that last minute performance.

if dave had showen up last minute and caused some big deal, that would have completed the night.

Bobdawg | 3/13/2007, 5:10 pm EST

Here’s my conspiracy theory on what happened with VH: After their one and only rehearsal since reuniting with Dave, they came to the realization that it is no longer 1984. They are 50 year old geezers who are way out of practice and will need at least six months to become a presentable live act. Realizing that attempting to perform at the HOF awards would have been an embarrassment (thus killing their reunion tour grosses), they concocted Eddie’s rehab story and let the two kicked out members show up at the awards instead to fuel the flames of controversy.

Later this year Eddie gets out of “rehab” with the sympathy of his loyal fans and the band launches their tour with even higher ticket prices. Velvet Revolver’s debacle of a performance followed by Sammy and Mike’s lounge act has only made the public’s demand for the real thing even stronger.

JonWithnal | 3/13/2007, 5:24 pm EST

Eddie Veder needs to go far away – his shitty band needs to go away as well. What a boring self-indulgent idiot he is. REM? Who gives a shit?

X-tina | 3/13/2007, 5:26 pm EST

I agree that VR did a horrible job. Other than that I thought it was a great show.

Dr. Ralph | 3/13/2007, 5:35 pm EST

Damn Eddie, you should have gone. If I had to pick you up out of your own vomit and hold you up onstage “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love” would have sounded better. Hell I can play it better. A Van Halen Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction with no brown sound… Very, very sad.

Doug | 3/13/2007, 5:47 pm EST

This whole Van Halen thing is FRUSTRATING!!! A band with that much talent, that ruled rock and roll for so many years, can’t put away all their differences, the bickering, the childish behavior and simply put together perhaps one of the greatest reunion tours ever, is more than a shame–it’s simply unbelievable!

This circus of activity the past couple of weeks will destroy any chances of a reunion tour. As bad as I want to see Diamond Dave, Alex, Eddie and Michael, I doubt it will ever happen, or if I would even fork out the big bucks to see it!

gc | 3/13/2007, 6:03 pm EST

it’s about time REM got some credit!!!!

2relaxed | 3/13/2007, 6:19 pm EST

Why didn’t the Hall of Fame get a VAN HALEN Tribute band to play, it would of least sounded and looked like VH. That was the worst cover of any song I’ve ever heard last night by Velvet R.
Eddie & Alex get your stuff together and take Dave and Michael out on the road then invite Sammy on some Heavy Hagar towns and rock us fans to death!!!!!!.

Dr. Ralph | 3/13/2007, 6:58 pm EST

No brown sound, no Van Halen’s, no Roth, no fun…

Melissa | 3/13/2007, 7:43 pm EST

As one of those “Van Halen Rules” fans from the late 70’s until the end of the Sammy era, I can only say my heart is broken. I forgave the Gary Cherone thing, I forgave the MTV award tease, I forgave the Me,Wise, Magic tease, I forgave Eddie & Alex for turning my band into a soap opera, I was almost going to give the new VH a listen, but this, Eddie, my love, is very hard to swallow. For years, many of my favorite bands have walked on that stage and accepted the RRHoF award. Some of them barely speaking, but they did it, with class. Not one Van Halen on the stage. That’s a disgrace. I’m really disappointed and it will be a while before I can listen to any Van Halen. RIP. Now, can we finally induct KISS next year! Now that will be show!

van halen it CT | 3/13/2007, 8:06 pm EST

maybee we will see Sammy and mike on Emril Live hawking the Tequila and mikes BBQ sauce he sells online.

Return 2 OZ | 3/13/2007, 8:27 pm EST

REM isn’t a band anymore… Michael Stipe just “hires” studio artists to play in “his band”. He should just put out a “SOLO album” like that 98 Degrees dude…. Nick Knack Lachey. As far as Van Halen goes… poor Wolfgang still can’t get a piece of Kathirne McPhee… Every man/boys dream, except for Michael Stipe he should go “out” with Jake Shears sometime but I doubt he likes younger men…

Tracy | 3/13/2007, 9:05 pm EST

The Van Halen party officially ended last nite!
C’mon Dave give us a break……….

Manny | 3/13/2007, 9:47 pm EST

I have to agree with most of the posts so far. Velvet Revolvers “tribute” to Van Halen was absolutely pathetic. VR sucked and did VH no justice. Having said that, it never should have come to that. The Van Halen brothers and DLR did nothing but prove they just don’t get it. Granted, the RRHOF is a joke in itself. How can Rush or KISS not be inducted? But Grand Master Flash is? Regardless, thanks Sammy and Dave for having enough class to show up first and foremost, and not dogging the hell out of VH even though reporters seemed to be provoking you for something bad to be said. I have never been a big fan of Velvet Revolver and I can’t say I am about to be either. There performance was incredibly bad. Scott Wieland, what the hell are all your gyrations about? Oh well, maybe I just don’t get it.

tony | 3/13/2007, 10:06 pm EST

Vh1 your at fault for letting this go down—just like your ratings, DLR was laughing his a$$ off at this and ed snuck in a 6 pack of natty light just to get through the brutal solo of slash—oh god wake me up from this bad dream!

Gunner | 3/13/2007, 10:57 pm EST

OK I like Mike & Sammy they are the only classy guys left that where in a Rock band called Van Halen once upon a time. To all you knee jerkers’ who think VH is all about DLR Eddie & Alex GET A LIFE. (Brother Alex can’t wipe his own ass without little brother Eddie’s permission) The Rock Hall of Fame’s staff should reach down into their pants and squeeze themself’s real tight and maybe they will finally induct a real band like RUSH into The House! Maybe then they will not be known as the Snub House with us Canadians…..

Biff Pocoroba | 3/13/2007, 11:30 pm EST

This just in. David Lee Roth did show up at the induction ceremony. However, Aretha Franklin went down with chest pains and Diamond Dave “jumped” to her rescue. Aretha threw up in his mouth while he gave her CPR. Roth fell ill with the ever lasting taste of Kool Menthol cigarettes and tater tots. Also, he felt naked because he forgot to bring a tube sock to stick down his spandex pants.

rivercityrascal | 3/14/2007, 12:40 am EST

Now that the Hall of Fame induction has come and gone, I’m going to start a pool on how long Eddie stays in rehab – that is, if he has ever checked in! Don’t rule out the possibility that the rehab story was a convenient way for Eddie to avoid his former bandmates. As for Alex – geez, grow a pair why don’t you! If anyone must blast Velvet Revolver for their pathetic “performance”, keep in mind they were there only because Eddie, Alex and Dave persist in behaving like spoiled, whiney little girls rather than professional musicians. What a joke!

rivercityrascal | 3/14/2007, 12:42 am EST

BTW, kudos to Sammy and Mike for making the best of a difficult situation. You guys are the best!!!

Scott Hughes- Toronto, Ontario | 3/14/2007, 1:43 am EST

David Lee Roth would have been there, but the shows organizers were complete fucks to him, and kudos to Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony were a class act, wishing Eddie well and hope he comes out a better person from Rehab, and thats class to say that in my books. Velvet Revolver sucked, I would have rather sat through a Partidge Family concert, and they dnt even play live, only reason they were there is because they have a new cd coming out

Ryan Hughes-13 yrs-Toronto | 3/14/2007, 1:52 am EST

Yea what my Dad just said is true, Velvet Revolver sucked, Sammy Hagar was a very good person to say what he said about Eddie. I am 13, I hope he gets better, my Dad enjoys their music and so do I, I hope we can go to a Van Halen concert together soon

just ranting | 3/14/2007, 7:55 am EST

The absent members of Van Halen must have realized what the voting members of the RRHOF didnt….THEY DONT BELONG THERE!!! MOST OVERRATED BAND OF ALL TIME!!! I cant wait to see who they “enshrine” next year…The Archies, maybe??
And one more thing…can rap, hiphop and soul music have their own Hall of Fame? They dont belong next to Lennon and Dylan..

batfink | 3/14/2007, 10:02 am EST

can’t wait to see Guns ‘n Roses getting inducted… that will be a hell of a circus…

Dr. Ralph | 3/14/2007, 10:51 am EST

I was already thinking what rivercityrascal said. Is Eddie REALLY in rehab? If so which one? Where? Why no news reports? For how many addictions and to what? Enquiring minds want to know… That’s right Ed! This is the payback for the millions of dollars we sent your way. A magnifying glass up your butt! You should have never made that video of yourself with a straitjacket on… that’s how I picture you in my mind now.

dennis | 3/14/2007, 7:27 pm EST

VR did a great job on the 1st tune and butchered the second song, thats agreed. On a whole, how could you not be pleased with the performances of Patti Smith and REM and that not so subtle dig at the Establishment when they played the Stooges song??

Reading these posts makes me laugh because its obvious nearly all of you don’t “get” what rock and roll is all about.

Those of you out there looking for something polished, maybe you should go look at a shoeshine stand.

Dr. Ralph | 3/16/2007, 9:26 am EST

Happy Birthday Wolfgang…

Helvis | 3/18/2007, 7:09 am EST

Bobdawg is correct! Is the post by Maddog the same Maddog who was the drummer for seminal LA punk band, The Controllers(featuring Kid Spike axman for them, and later, The Gears)?
