- Anthony Keidis has apparently battled not only heroin addiction in his life, but also a nasty problem with internet porn. “When I finally got a computer, I discovered this limitless world of pornography,” Keidis reportedly said. “I realized the same feeling I was having was the same I used to get when scoring drugs. Sex can have a dark side. I actually had to make a commitment to myself to stop.”
- Looks like Green Day will make an appearance in the new Simpsons film, appropriately titled The Simpsons Movie. Check out this clip - in which the band seems to appear for at least a millisecond. [via NME]
- Don’t fall behind on the NIN Year Zero project cause then you’ll never be able to follow along in the movie (that may or may not get made) based on the project’s themes.
- Simon Cowell has no sympathy for the plight of rehab-indulging pop stars. The AI judge reportedly had strong words for Britney and Robbie Williams, both of whom, as you may have heard, have been in rehab of late. “This whole thing is a total indulgence. Britney and Robbie need to get a grip. We’ve allowed these people to feel sorry for themselves. I don’t know what’s going on in Britney’s head but my attitude is I couldn’t care less. She should go back and live with her mum for six months.”
- Not all of us were into Bright Eyes recent performance at New York’s Bowery Ballroom, but for those of us who liked what we heard of the band’s new material (the new album Cassadaga is out April 10th) it’s time to get psyched about the slew of new BE tour dates just announced. Five nights at New York’s town hall? Hot. Dates after the jump. [via BrooklynVegan]
