You’ve finally written that long-pondered, thinly veiled autobiography of a first novel. It rocks to such an extreme degree that Dreamworks has optioned the rights and is turning it into a film. You’re cool with that, provided that they give you the right to design the soundtrack. What song do you have playing as the credits roll during the opening sequence? (We’d go with “Cactus” by the Pixies).

They already gave me an honorary soundtrack back in 1986. It was the Transformers Movie soundtrack, and it’s the absolutely coolest, most awesome, untouchable soundtrack EVER! EVER! EVER!

Well, first of all,my movie would be called “The Wilmingtonian”,a take on the 1950’s Reader’s Digest story entitled “The Philadelphian”.The opening theme song for it would be “Where Would I Be(The Question)” by Kindred The Family Soul.It could be about a savvy local music writer(Me)who comes across meeting a thorough business school professor(a certain ethnic honey)at a music festival(preferably the annual Bob Marley Festival)and experience passion, pain, and then passion again-mainly from an emotional, mutual aspect. Most of the movie should showcase a sophisticated, sensational city-that being known as Wilmington,DE.
