- Check out two previously unreleased Biggie tunes, “Running Your Mouth” (featuring Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, Foxy Brown, Fabolous & Busta Rhymes,) and “Want That Old Thing Back” (featuring Ja Rule and Ralph Tresvant). Apparently the tracks will be on the forthcoming Notorious B.I.G.-memorializing Greatest Hits compilation. R.I.P. Biggie, we miss you.
- Rage Against the Machine will continue their string of reunion performances by performing three shows with Rock the Bells. Rage will join Wu-Tang Clan (who are supporting their forthcoming new album 8 Diagrams) for two dates on the west coast (August 11, San Bernardino, CA; August 18, San Francisco) and for Rock the Bells’ first ever stop into New York City (July 28 at Randall’s Island).
- Lily Allen is speaking out on an issue close to the hearts of many vintage-dress-wearing, art-making young people: housing prices. “I’ve been doing what I do for a few years now and I’ve been paid pretty well for it, but even I’m not in a position to buy a one-bedroom flat in the city I grew up in,” the pop star reportedly said. “How much harder is it going to be for other people my age?”
