
- On May 1st Tori Amos, is releasing a new album, American Doll Posse. Music’s most famous woodland nymph wrote and produced the record herself, recorded it in Cornwall, England, and plans to launch a world tour in support of the release on May 28th in Rome. Dates coming soon.
- They wouldn’t cut it for her, but they’ll put their kids through college off the proceeds. An individual claiming to be the owner of the hair salon at which Britney Spears shaved her head over the weekend, is auctioning off the pop star’s hair for a million bucks. - Sirius has agreed to purchase XM radio for about $4.6 billion in stocks, provided the FCC and Justice Department approve the deal.
- Buckethead wants to make you a mix. Tomorrow the guitarist will reportedly release a collection of homemade albums known as In Search of the. There are thirteen CDs in the collection, each one reportedly with different, homemade artwork, and you can purchase single CDs for $20, or the entire collection for $200.
- And we thought Panic! at the Disco were pansies for being taken down by a few flying bottles of lager. Bloc Party reportedly cut a show short when frontman Kele Okereke was hit by a coin.
