Twenty-three-year-old Tanner Hall owns freestyle skiing, but he lets other guys play to keep things interesting. The Park City, Utah, native has won five gold medals at the Winter X Games and has called downhill racing “easy.” Not easy? Tanner’s attempts to push the limits of physics. In this 2005 clip, boyfriend busts himself up pretty badly when he attempts a “switch 900” (two consecutive mid-air spins off a 120-foot cliff). The sights and sounds must be seen to be believed. Don’t plan to sleep tonight.
