The best of James Brown videos?
How ’bout a “Please Please Please” or a “Try Me” clip ? I’d give up a tit to see a long version ‘Please’ complete with a towel instead of the sequined cape.

I always “Feel Good” when I hear or see James Brown. He still had so much energy even in this performance. Still hard (and sad)to believe he’s not with us anymore. He was great.

James Brown unified generations of musician asnd exemplified real black music at its best with soulful lyrics and a driving rhythm section and horn arrangements that were the syncopated pulse of what truly defined Rhythm and Blues and Soul. He will live forever in the music that made the world want to get up and shake their ass.

I see that most people STILL don’t know who the FAMOUS FLAMES were. Here it is, once again. THE FLAMES WERE NOT A BAND !!! THEY WERE A SINGING GROUP !!! THEY WERE NOT 15 GUYS PLAYING INSTRUMENTS BEHIND JAMES BROWN. There were only 3 of them… AND THEY STOOD NEXT TO HIM AND SANG WITH HIM!!!…JAMES WAS THEIR LEAD SINGER!!!You wanna see the Flames ? Get the T.A.M.I. Show video. They were standing NEXT to him singing “Please Please Please” & “Prisoner Of Love”…. and danced with on “Night Train” !!! James Brown’s BAND is called…now get this….THE JAMES BROWN BAND!!! NOT THE FAMOUS FLAMES!!! The Flames were: BOBBY BYRD, BOBBY BENNETT, and LLOYD STALLWORTH . They also performed with him in the 1965 movie SKI PARTY and twice on the ED SULLIVAN SHOW. They weren’t in ROCKY 3. . Only James & the band were . Get the T.A.M.I. show & SKI PARTY dvds on the internet.Again , The Flames were a SINGING GROUP….. N O T A BAND !!!!
