Playlist of the Day: Ancient Alien Microbes Whacked by Nasa?

1/8/07, 10:27 am EST

MarsGreat. Scientists have discovered that there used to be life (ancient alien microbes, they call them) on Mars, but we may have inadvertently murdered said life before noticing it was there. Bummer. Here are some songs about Mars, life and our general idiocy.

  • “Viva Life on Mars” – Robbie Williams
  • “Killers and Liars” – Bad Astronaut
  • “Murder Was the Case” – Snoop Dogg
  • “Lost Child Astronaut” – Big Head Todd and the Monsters
  • “Life on Mars?” – David Bowie (you knew it was coming)
