Jarvis Cocker’s recently released debut solo album, Jarvis, is awesome. Seriously. If you don’t believe us…listen to it. But in the meantime, check out this absurd video for the lead single “Don’t Let Him Waste Your Time,” a cheeky rave up for your contemporary urban girl (sample lyrics: He can have his space/ He can take his time/ Now he can kiss you where the sun don’t shine). The video features Cocker as your local cabbie, dispensing boy-management advice in between glances at the A to Z(ed) while careening through the streets of London. Eventually there’s a disco ball involved and the polite exchange of currency. Check it out.
