- Mozart would have been 250 years old this year, and we know he would not have been celebrating by hitting Hyde with pantyless celebutantes. So, for those interested in honoring the great composer’s birthday, peruse the musical scores of the master’s complete works. They are now available (for the first time ever) for free online, courtesy of the International Mozart Foundation in Salzburg, Austria. 45,000 people reportedly logged on in the first two hours: Who besides Mozart could pull that kind of attendance at their birthday bash?
- We almost don’t want to mention this, because we’re considering buying out the entire stock, but there’s some incredibly badass Hold Steady gear available for holiday shopping right here. For the geeked-out rock boy or girl in your life.
- Lupe Fiasco feels he’s already achieved his dream team of collaborators on Food & Liquor, so next time around he’d like to work with someone “unattainable,” like, Pink Floyd for example. He’s serious. - Jada Pinkett Smith gives $1 million to her former school, The Baltimore School for the Arts, and asks that whatever they build in her honor (a theater) be dedicated to her former classmate, Tupac Shakur.
- Judge concludes that racists-slur-spewing, beer-chucking frat boys from the Borat movie tarnished their own reputations, let’s film off the hook. Surprised?
