Yoko, you helped to break up the band then used John to get your career going which never would have gone as far as it has without the FINANCE and word of mouth that John provided for you..
Now you’re basking in all his wealth and i wonder what in the heck did you do to deserve that????
Now people if you want artists that possess great authentic gifts that have broken ground then look for the Great Lou Reed, Bob Dylan, The Clash, John Lennon, The Beatles, The Velvet Underground, The Sex Pistols as well as others but don’t fall for the hype and bull that is YOKO.

I’ve actually heard some of her music. It’s like listening to the wailing of a wounded animal. It’s so bad that it fools people into thinking that there must be some inherent meaning to it because no one would intentionally make the sounds of a farting hyena for no reason. It’s the pretentious music of a woman with no talent except for her dead on vocal impressions of fornicating livestock.

I just heard that guy Antony massacre “If It Be Your Will” in the movie “Leonard Cohen I’m Your Man” last night. As far as I’m concerned they deserve one another – what do these people really bring to humanity?

Most of the banshee wailing everyone’s complaining about was only on her 60-70s records. It’s probably not for everyone, just like Zappa or Captain Beefheart, but in the late 70’s and 80’s all her records were very pop-oriented, and very good. Maybe give them a listen before posting idiotic comments? She pushed John Lennon in directions he would’ve never gone into on his own, and has been an amazing artist/activist for 40 years.

To those who continue to blame Yoko for the demise of the Beatles: listen to the later Beatles albums. Even before he met Yoko, John was increasingly trying to push the boundaries of rock while McCartney was increasingly retreating into pop schlock. What amazes me is how long John stayed in a band with a guy who insisted on recording dreck like “Your Mother Should Know,” “Honey Pie,” “Hello Goodbye,” etc.

What venomous pithy comments. What fuels such unhinged hatred? If you don’t like something, why do you have to rail against it? Have you no personal dignity? Anyway, some people like her. Some don’t. That’s the nature of art. Don’t you understand even that?

RS will give this album 4 stars. They have never given a Yoko record any less. One of many reasons why RS is not taken seriously. Their comment boards are fun though.

When Yoko sings (and I use that term loosely), it sounds like cats fucking. Her incessant cackle is both baffling and annoying. She rides the coattails of a genius and doesn’t seem to get it. She sucks. She’s always sucked. If you ever get a chance, check out the Rolling Stones’ Rock and Roll Circus. John does a number with Clapton and guess who ruins the whole thing? That’s right.

If all you have ever heard from Mrs. lennon were the tracks where she does do some yelling, moaning, etc, then it might turn off the mainstream populous. The hatred factor is bewildering to a fan like me. If you dont like her, dont listen and dont piss on our fun ok? The world sux as it is.

She’s a hack. John went downhill after he met her… and yeah The Beatles would have broken up anyway, but I’m surprised they didn’t immediately lose it on Lennon when he started toting Yoko into the studio day after day. It wasn’t her place to be there; it would have driven ANYONE crazy. Lennon just didn’t get it.
