- Jarvis, don’t tease us like that. When we saw that Pulp sort of reunited last night during Jarvis Cocker’s debut UK solo show, we read right through the “sort of” bit and felt awash with warm Brit-pop-flavored joy. - Apparently the press shots taken of Gwen Stefani to promote her new record The Sweet Escape were taken by a woman criticized in the past for making babies sob in pursuit of the perfect photo. It’s not like we condone sobbing toddlers but this shot is gorgeous.
- David Gilmour has apparently recorded three live tracks he plans to dedicate to Syd Barrett, and release online for Christmas. Limited-issue vinyl singles will also reportedly come out December 26th. Rock geek stocking stuffers seekers, take note.
- Queen’s Greatest Hits is now officially the best selling record in UK chart history. It has apparently sold more than 5.4 million copies in Britain since its 1981 release.
