- We keep telling everyone that Borat is on the new cover of Rolling Stone (on stands everywhere Friday) and that the cover feature includes an interview with Sacha Baron Cohen. And people are like “yeah, so, he’s been everywhere” and we’re like no, Sacha himself is talking to us, not as Borat, but about Borat (and other things). We no longer have to explain, you can just check out our excerpt here and go get yourself a copy of the issue, use the handy image above to identify it.
- Michael Jackson’s super anticipated appearance at the World Music Awards last night apparently turned into a total disaster when the singer announced, at the last minute, that he wouldn’t be performing. Then, when he sang a few lines of We Are The World but didn’t finish the song, he was booed offstage. Oops?
- Whitney Houston is fighting to stay sober, in the middle of a divorce, and now the rumor is that she may be facing foreclosure on her New Jersey mansion if she doesn’t come up with $1 million in mortgage payments and local taxes.
- We really like what we’ve heard so far from Nick Cave’s side project Grinderman, so we’re psyched to hear the band’s self-titled debut will be released next March-ish on Mute.
