Playlist of the Day: Fed Up With the High Road

11/14/06, 8:54 am EST

k-fedWhat do you do when you’re married to Britney Spears but she’s about to divorce you, take away all your credit cards, your limited edition sneaker collection, and your kids? You rummage around in your boxer draw for that reputation-ruining sex tape cause that’s the only move you’ve got left.

We personally don’t want to see the K Fed/Britney honeymoon love-making (their “our sex is so good” banter on Chaotic was enough of that for a lifetime, thanks) but we do want to waste our time dreaming up the perfect collection of songs to commemorate Kevin Federline’s long-awaited downfall.

  • “The Last Resort” – The Eagles
  • “Living On Video” – Trans X
  • “Stop Using Sex As A Weapon” – Pat Benatar
  • “Lowdown” – Boz Scaggs
  • “Whatta Man” – En Vogue

The album “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars” would be nice, but too much for him. Anyway, Bowie doesn’t deserve that.

“Posthuman” – Marilyn Manson, considering it contains the line “I’m not in love, but I’m gonna f*** you until somebody better comes along”.

K Fed will be the last one laughing. He will end up with a couple million bucks from the divorce, as well as bragging rights for the rest of his life that Spears was his own personal slut. I commend him.

Jose | 11/14/2006, 7:24 pm EST

Can’t fathom why no one has mentioned I’m A Loser (The Beatles), or Going Under (Evanescence), but the BEST song to fuel poor K’s inner turmoil right now has to be “Dreamworld” (Midnight Oil)

…”Your dream world is just about to end…”

Pope Judas I | 11/14/2006, 8:24 pm EST

“Goodbye Blue Sky” and “Goodbye Cruel World” by Pink Floyd follow that with the entire “Berlin” album by Lou Reed and “Tears in Heaven” by Eric Clapton
