
- Joni Mitchell will be inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in January of next year. Blood Sweat and Tears frontman (and fellow Canadian) David Clayton-Thomas apparently confessed, when commenting on the upcoming induction, that he had “an enormous crush on Joni Mitchell.” “She was 18 years old and absolutely stunning and sang like an angel and wrote pure genius,” he reportedly gushed. Cute, no?
- Normally we would take a tour rider like K-Fed’s and make shameless fun of it (aromatherapy candles, no Evian allowed) but his fundamental idiocy and the disastrous current circumstances in his life make it hard to go there.
- Fall Out Boy have announced that the first single from their new record will be “It Ain’t A Scene, It’s An Arms Race,” out, apparently, sometime in December. Also, check out a Spencers Gifts or a Hot Topic near you for those Fall Out Boy dolls we’re all secretly coveting.
- Remember when that Hong Kong promoter cancelled Mariah Carey’s appearance due to poor sales and what they called her “unreasonable last-minute demands?” Yeah, well now the diva is apparently suing the promoter for $1 million for expenses she allegedly incurred planning the trip.
