K-Fed Retaliates, Dylan Musical Hangs Its Head, Jim Morrison’s Dad Speaks

  • The soon-to-be-former Mr. Spears has taken no time in retaliating against Britney for suddenly filing for divorce earlier this week. Federline filed his own divorce papers yesterday, allegedly seeking spousal support and custody of the kids. Oh Kevin, come on. Seriously?
  • The Times They Are A-Changin’, the generally critically loathed Bob Dylan musical will close down, according to the Washington Post. The central reason behind the closing seems to be that no one on earth liked this show.
  • Jim Morrison’s dad breaks his silence about his son’s death in the Doors’ new book The Doors by the Doors. He apparently calls Jim’s death “unfortunate” and ruminates on the Morrison family’s tenuous relationship with their son.
  • The sister of English pop star Alma Cogan is claiming John Lennon once had an affair with Cogan while he was married to his first wife. Nothing like decades old gossip to get you going in the morning.
  • Seemingly unsubstantiated gun charges against Young Buck and Lloyd Banks have been dropped.

-I think everyone saw that divorce coming from a mile away. If we’re lucky, we’ll never hear from K-Fed (now Fed-Ex) again.
-Shame about the Dylan musical.
-Jim never did get along with his family.
-I’m sure Lennon had many affairs. He cheated on Yoko at a party when she was in the next room. They made so much noise that the party ended and Yoko waited for him to finish up. He was a genius, but never did fully understood women. But then, do any of us?
-I’m sure the next bout of gun charges for these fine lads will be just in time for the holidays
